The staff at this hotel were incredible. We stayed here with our 9 week old son and my parents and they could not have done more for us. They offered to heat up bottles and store our luggage. Some of our party also ran the Big Half marathon and they let us use the showers past check-out. The room was spotless and the bathrooms were very modern. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. We would 100% stay here again as the price is fantastic.

Considering the reviews I came across here, I think people are overreacting or expecting the world.

The man on reception I spoke to was friendly and accommodating, letting us leave our bags behind the reception multiple times. Our room was at the top of the building on a very hot day, but a fan was running and windows open. Yes it was pretty shabby, not the best presented but was within the price range we were paying for.

We faced away from the already quiet main road so it was a very calm quiet night outside which helped a lot. Nice big mirrors, though the shower wasn't the strongest, it was clean.

We didn't try the breakfast as a vegan but the tea and coffee provided were ample for getting us out and on our way. Again bags were left for eight hours during our day out before coming to collect to head to the train station, and the main guy was lovely.

Tl;Dr you get what you pay for, have a realistic but positive attitude .

The room didn't have air conditioning and had a strong smell of mold that made my eyes itchy and my friend had nosebleeds. The beds were uncomfortable and matterses had stains. Overall the room was dirty and dusty. Also the breakfest was poor and not like in the pictures. We had booked a room there for four nights but left the hotel after the first night. We got refunds which was the only good thing about the hotel. Try to stay away for this place.

I booked the hotel for five days. The only really positive thing was that it was well connected and relatively quick to get to the center of London. The breakfast was mediocre and not as shown in the pictures. The room was full of mold and the window could not be closed. When I went to the reception to solve the problem with the window, the employee was very unfriendly and told me not to make such a fuss. After a long discussion, the window was changed the next day so that it could now be closed but not locked. I felt the hole time really unsafe because our room faced the street and everybody could have gotten into our room. Apart from the one employee, the rest of the staff were very friendly.

The best value hotel in London in a great location with the City, Canary Wharf etc easily accessible. Owners were very kind and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back when we're next in London.

Considering some of the horror stories about the rooms it seems I did alright, the room was as advertised and clean which is good but just as others have said the guy at the desk is the rudest person I've ever met in hospitality stared right through me with the dumbest and deadest eyes I've ever seen on a real live human and was just all around an unhelpful and unpleasant person. I wouldn't roll the dice on this place as if it had been gross as well as poorly served it would be a waste. Luckily it was relatively cheap, and the location was convenient, hence why it was my only option. I have never been moved to review a place until this guy treated me that way.

Good location. Terrible customer service and the thing you can’t not have - a clean room. The staff member on duty assured me that he personally checked the room but maybe he checked the computer or his standard of clean is lacking.

Drugs under bed
Dirty sheets
Evidence of bed bugs
Faulty and defective electrical equipment
Mould
Broken tiles
Damaged blinds

When I showed him the sheets he asked me to bring them to reception. - I should’ve taken the whole room in that case. He told me the mould was normal for a bathroom mat (!!) many more photos and videos at a situation Incan now laugh at but on the night - fuming.

Absolutely catastrophic. We booked a room for 3 nights and fled the premises after the first night. Doorlock had clearly been broken open before. We are two traveling women and that does not give off the safest of vibes. The plaster of the shower ceiling was crumbling off. Bathroom lock broken open. There Was trash in the "boxes" that were supposed our bedframe. The room is directly under the roof and there was only a gangly fan. Receptionist seemed resigned with his job. Didn't even ask why we cancelled our reservation or try to help us.
Do not book here!!!
