Doppio coffee is the best place in Muswell Hill. I recommend asking for Girts who makes amazing flat white and really fast. He is really friendly and remembers customers that come often which helps to create a positive atmosphere and overall great impression. Everyone in Doppio is really friendly and super helpful - for example I really appreciate that they grind coffee for me which is being sold in the shop. I also love their apricots danish pastry - must try 🥐 ! My favorite ❤️

Nice place.
Lots of people working on laptops, so it's not easy to find a free seat.
Tea is not the best in London but not the worst either, ok. The matcha is not very good.
The selection of pastries is small but nice. There's the whole standard selection.
Dog friendly.

My fav cafe in Muswell Hill. Love an indie! Lovely vibe, good soundtracks, wonderful hot lattes and a vast selection of the best pastries/ cakes and ice cream!

In addition to the above what keeps me coming back are the staff. The cafe’s greatest asset. Super hard working and diligent, you never have to wait long to get served. And Girt is an absolute star! Friendly, welcoming and he cares. 5 stars from me 🙂

Update: non cycle friendly, staff unfriendly depending on who is at the counter; male staff tends to be grumpy and impolite. We showed up as a group of 5 cyclists at 7:15am by 2°C weather, and were basically kicked out for taking too much space on their terrace, despite it being empty and unlikely to fill up at that time and under those weather conditions. Never went back. Sad as Doppio had been brilliant so far.

GREAT coffee and pastries (try the vegan cinnamon bun, ask for it to be warmed up!). Friendly staff and excellent space to chill after morning sports , they open early so very convenient! Cycle friendly.

Serving great coffee in a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Quite busy place during weekends but new policy not allowing laptops during weekends makes it easier to find a table.
Staff are great. Very helpful and friendly making it overall a pleasant experience.
I want to thank Girts and Matteo for going above and beyond, as always, to accomodate my custom requests last time, although extremely busy.

Great coffee, tasty food, good vibes!
I come here often to work with my computer. Definitely my favourite coffee shop in the area (and if you live here, you know how many there are).
All the stuff is friendly. My preference thou goes to Alice and Mihir. They are the best!

How can one man be so rude in a shop that only has to do two things, make coffee and be nice. Kurt took my order with no smile and no friendliness and then snapped when I asked the barista a special request. So rude and so many other coffee shops in Muswell Hill. Maybe that's why they're quiet all of a sudden.

This is my favourite coffee shop in Muswell Hill. I’m a regular customer and have tried other cafés in the area, but Doppio is the best! The staff are very friendly – Girts, Matteo, Alice and the others too (though I can’t remember all their names right now). The coffee is excellent. Thanks a lot 🌻
