Outstanding Stay at the Hilton Brighton

From the moment we arrived at the Hilton Brighton, we experienced exceptional hospitality and warmth that truly made us feel at home. The staff were not only attentive and professional but showed remarkable kindness and patience, especially towards my children who have autism. Their gentle and understanding approach made our stay so much more comfortable and stress-free.

The rooms were beautifully maintained—spacious, clean, and elegant—with all the comforts one could wish for. Waking up to the stunning views of Brighton was a true blessing and added a peaceful start to each day.

The calm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel was a perfect retreat after busy days exploring the city. The dining staff were especially accommodating, showing extra care and understanding with my children’s needs.

What stood out most was the genuine kindness and professionalism of the staff, who always made themselves available to assist with warm hearts and gracious spirits.

For families like mine, seeking a restful, inclusive, and friendly stay by the seaside, the Hilton Brighton is a truly wonderful choice. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend it to families and travellers alike.

I stayed at the hotel this week for a night, I have mixed feelings about my stay.

Pros:
Nice welcome from the reception staff who gave us a welcome cookie.

Cons:
Room was decent size but there were paint chipping all along the skirting boards in the room.
Toilet seat was unnecessarily low down.
Breakfast was mediocre at best, nothing award winning, though I did enjoy their veggie sausage, that was my highlight of the breakfast.
My main con was one of the first things I noticed in my room was brown spots on the carpet, no idea what it is but I thought that was disappointing to see when I entered the room. Pictures included below.

Overall, the stay wasn’t what I expected it to be for a Hilton. It was my first time staying in a “high-end” hotel and I was disappointed in my stay especially considering it cost me £150 for one night.
Not sure if I would return here again.

5-Star Family Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole with my family and had a truly memorable experience from start to finish. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was made to feel incredibly valued throughout the stay, with all the fantastic benefits that come with Diamond status, including a warm welcome, complimentary upgrades, and priority service that really added a personal touch.

The hotel looked amazing after recently benefiting from a refurbishment. The new rooms are stunning, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, offering a perfect mix of classic charm and modern design.

Its location is ideal, just a short stroll from the pier and Brighton’s famous seafront attractions, which meant our days were packed with things to see and do. After exploring the vibrant promenade, it was lovely to return to the hotel for some relaxation.

The spa, pool, and jacuzzi area were a real highlight, a perfect way to unwind and recharge. The only thing that could have made the day better was a bit more sunshine, but then again, that’s just the charm of traditional British weather!

What really made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service we received throughout. A special mention must go to Antonio at the front desk, who was absolutely amazing: warm, professional, and a shining example of service excellence. From the moment we arrived, Antonio ensured every detail was taken care of and made us feel completely at home.

This was a wonderful family getaway, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Thank you to the whole team at the Brighton Metropole for making it so special. Without a doubt, one of the best Hilton experiences on the south coast.

The doubletree was great! Staff were very friendly, breakfast was very nice. The hotel room was very clean, very spacious, and big! They have an express checkout where you just drop your key which is actually pretty good!

I found it odd that I had to call in advance to let them know I wanted to use the pool during opening hours, and it was a shame that there were no slippers or dressings gowns available in the room. I felt the decoration in the room was quite grey and dark but I think that must just be the Hilton decor. Also, only one device can be connected to the internet and you have to sign up to Hilton for it. This felt quite old school and also meant I had to hot spot from my phone!

But overall, a stay with no complaints! The location was great. Would definitely recommend!

I had a lovely few days at this hotel – everything was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. What truly made my stay special was Marta. She was warm, caring, and always ready to help. Stayed at the Hilton Metropole Brighton for a family reunion and loved it. The rooms were spotless and relaxing, with beds so comfortable I questioned the need to ever leave. Staff were brilliant — genuinely helpful and unflappable, even when faced with our large, slightly chaotic group.

The location is perfect, right on the seafront with stunning views. The pool was on the small side but warm and pleasant, though you'll need to bring your own padlock for the lockers. Hot water took a minute to arrive but was worth the wait.

Breakfast was the real highlight: a generous spread with something for everyone — even two types of veggie sausages, which frankly feels like luxury.

We made the classic British error of dressing for winter in April and ended up roasting in our coats. That’s on us, not the hotel.

Overall, a lovely stay. Four stars — saving one just in case they add a rooftop garden or start offering jazz at breakfast. Would definitely return!

The attention to detail and cleanliness was outstanding! Two mini mousse cakes in our room for my birthday..the staff were brilliant hot cookies at reception when checking in. The facilities were fantastic spa, pool and fully equipped gym. Breakfast is a must
