We had a great time here, we stayed in Cabin 1 and it was so peaceful. We had our 7 month old to think about and this worked well as we could have dinner and relax in the evening and she could sleep in the cot in the bedroom and we wouldn't disturb here like we would in a hotel in one room.

Staff were lovely and friendly and the site was clean. Hot tub was great to chill in the sunshine. Lovely walks around Dovestone Reservoir just a stones throw away.

Have already recommended to family and would absolutely recommend again particularly for young families who like lots of countryside walks and exploring the local area.

Dovestone Holiday Park consists of a number of pine holiday chalets and smaller glamping pods, set on the shoulder of Dovestone Reservoir. Each chalet comes with its own BBQ and hot tub. The chalets are luxuriously spacious and well maintained, and the area is perfect for walkers, with the reservoir itself (set in stunning Pennine hills ), and dozens of other walks, around several adjoining reservoirs and up into the hills themselves.||We needed accommodation for a disabled family member, and our chalet had ramps, a large wet room, and even a lowered hot tub on our private decking. The tubs are checked daily, and run at a constant 40 degrees (too hot for me, but I'm not a particular hot tub fan!) There is an onsite office offering help, advice and support, and the brilliant staff can help with getting the most out of the area, with nearby Saddleworth, Uppermill and Holmfirth to explore and enjoy. Dogs are welcome in most places in the area, and the park has several dog friendly chalets and pods on offer. There is a large Tesco in nearby Uppermill.||I would thoroughly recommend this park to anyone, but would suggest that walkers, (with or without dogs) or car owners who want to explore this beautiful part of the country, would get the most out of it, rather than people with young children.

Lovely clean, modern Lodge set in a beautiful location. Ideally situated for great hiking with some great places to eat and drink nearby. Would highly recommend to any one who wants a peaceful location with some serious hiking on the doorstep.

Hi there!

My name is Bradley. I have note yet visited or stayed at Dovestone Holiday Park/ Reservoir but I am looking at potentially booking a little staycation with my girlfriend for my 21st birthday in one of the lodges which has a hot tub!

I would just like to ask what the prices are (per night) for these specific cabins for 2 adults and also what the prices are per adult.

We had a lovely weekend at the glamping pods in May, the weather was glorious so perfect to sit out with a few drinks or have a bbq.

The staff were super helpful & really nice with our two kids so definitely a family friendly place. They loved feeding the ducks & ducklings on the lake opposite the pods.

Our little dog also loved the break & made a few doggy friends in the other pods.

Thank you for a wonderful time, we’ll be back again soon 😃

Stayed here in a pod for 1 week in march 2025 due to house removal and new one not ready The pod was spotless and lovely and warm Great shower too. We have thoroughly enjoyed it especially the location We are both in our 70 's and just found the seating a little difficult to relax on in the evening .Luckily , Lisa in reception was so helpful and lent us 2 more garden chairs which were far more comfortable. She was so helpful and friendly Nothing seems too much trouble for her.
We would highly recommend staying over as it's such a great experience We even did a small walk around the reservoir .
We would love to come back with all of our family and have a pod each ( although we might splash out and try a lodge 😅

Return visit to this amazing site staying in the safari tent overlooking the lake. Accommodation is spotless and has everything you need. The staff makes this site 5 star nothing too much for them. I would highly recommend this site for for all

We visited Dovestones Holiday Park for two nights in January 2025. We are a family of four with a 12 and 15 year old. Each one of us had an amazing time and it’s not easy pleasing a teenager!|We stayed in a cabin with a hot tub. Sally who greeted us on arrival in the customer service lodge had swapped us to lodge 15 which is one of the newer cabins. The accommodation was beyond our expectations! Everything was so clean and new and everything you needed was provided such as hair dryer, iron, WIFI, towels etc. |we arrived at 5pm on a cold January evening and Sally had switched on the cabin lights and heating ready for our arrival, very nice touch. The hot tub was on and at the perfect temperature. The hot tub was a real treat and my girls loved it!|The holiday park is a stones throw from Dovestones reservoir and we had a lovely walk around there taking in the views. Plenty of lovely pubs nearby serving food (The Clarence). |I cannot recommend Dovestones holiday park enough and we will definitely be back!
