A lovely little pub in the village which we had eaten in a couple of times before and been very happy, so I booked for a family meal to for my husbands 70th Birthday. , We arrived at 12.30 for Sunday lunch and had to wait 3/4 of an our before it was served, not ideal when you have children with you, My grandsons burger was black which he did not eat, we ordered the cauliflower cheese which was a side order and was also overcooked, brown inside, the belly pork was a rolled joint one dry slice on the plate. I feel they had overbooked , I have never seen so many people in such a small place, it was cold in the bar with the door being left open all the time, so many people coming and going. I wish they had said they were full up when I went to book, I suppose it is good trade at the time, but I wonder if customers will return. We did mention that the burger was over cooked and that was knocked off the bill. Very disappointed.

Friday lunch bar meal with friends and locals in a character village pub. Great food and beers, friendly atmosphere, a reminder of past times pleasant, really recommend if you are in the area.

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch here today. We pre-booked as have our dog with us, seated in bar area as expected. Service was great, friendly and welcoming. Food was all very tasty. A proper village pub. Would happily return.

Visited this quaint little pub for the first time this evening. What gem situated in a really pretty village. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Good choices on the menu and specials board. The food was delicious will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

A superb traditional pub serving a good range of beers and very tasty food. A warm welcome from the Landlady Mandy made all very welcome.
