Perfection from start to finish.|Millie on reception was fast, efficient and very polite. We stayed in a Viking theme room and it was incredible! The theming was very good, lots of attention to detail. The room was spotless and was bed was comfortable. Had a main dinner in the restaurant where we had above and beyond service from Helen, exceptional service was provided by all and nothing was too much trouble, food was outstanding and such good value, could not finish it all. The whole experience was great with all staff, including Sir Topham at breakfast. It will be a pleasure to return soon.

Our weekend at Drayton Manor was nothing short of magical! From start to finish, it was a perfect blend of festive cheer and thrilling fun. The highlight was meeting Santa, who truly made the experience enchanting for the little ones. His grotto was beautifully decorated, and the kids were delighted to receive a special gift from the man himself.||Thomas Land was a dream come true for young train enthusiasts. Meeting Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt was a real treat, and their cheerful interactions made the experience unforgettable. The attention to detail in Thomas Land was incredible, with themed rides and décor that captured the essence of the beloved series.||The rides throughout the park catered to all ages. From gentle rides perfect for smaller children to the more exhilarating attractions for thrill-seekers, there was something for everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming atmosphere.||The park's festive touches, like twinkling lights and Christmas music, added to the magic. It truly felt like stepping into a winter wonderland. Drayton Manor delivered a memorable family weekend filled with joy, laughter, and excitement. We can’t wait to return next year! Highly recommended for families seeking festive fun.

From arrival right the way through to check out the staff where great. |A nice warm welcome, checked in fast and off to the room. The room was awesome, not to hot not to cold, comfy and well appointed. |Nice large tv, tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge arm charm and really comfy bed.|The bathroom was quite spacious with probably the strongest water pressure in the faucet in any hotel I’ve stayed. |Dinner the restaurant was great and the menu quite extensive, something for everyone. Breakfast was equally as good, and the coffee at breakfast, top notch.||For the price you will most certainly not find a better hotel, great value for money.

Stayed here in a work trip to Tamworth , previously I had stayed in the Premmier Inns but thought I’d give this a try as it was cheaper and looked fun.|The hotel is obviously catered towards park goers and kids specifically. But quirky Thomas the tank engines aside it’s a great hotel thag feels a step up over the premier inns.|The rooms are very comfortable and look|Modern, the staff are very friendly and professional and will go out of their way to help, the restaurants feels classy and njce, the food was questionable though, the “wood fired pizza” looked shopped bought and definitely hadn’t been “wood fired” and the “truffle Mayo fries” were in-fact Parmesan and Mayo fried, still very nice.|The cooler breakfast is very good .|Would definitely stay here again

Great Thomas bedroom. Grandson absolutely loved it. Food at the restaurant was fine. Breakfast was plentiful, but quality was not so great. We were able to park all day at the hotel once we had registered it. We had a long wait to get into our room as the battery was flat and staff had trouble fixing it. A staff member at the reception was very casual and unconcerned over my mobility problems that nearly ruined our day. It is a fair walk to Thomas the Tank Engine Land from the hotel.

Disappointing Experience for the Price

I recently stayed at Drayton Manor Hotel and was left feeling very disappointed, especially considering the price we paid.

First, the cleanliness in the bathroom was appalling. When I filled the bath, it was absolutely full of floaters. For a hotel of this standard, I expected much better. This alone put a damper on the stay.

Another major issue was the lack of soundproofing in the bedrooms. You could hear everything from the rooms above, next door, and even from the corridor. As a hotel that caters to families with young, excited children, I expected much more thought to be put into noise reduction. It was difficult to relax or get a decent night’s sleep with so much noise.

On a positive note, the children’s entertainment was very good. There were plenty of fun activities to keep the kids occupied, which was a highlight of the stay and something the hotel should be commended for.

Additionally, the reception staff provided absolutely fantastic customer service. They were friendly, professional, and very welcoming. They are clearly well-trained and a credit to the hotel.

Breakfast was tasty, but the service left much to be desired. As a solo parent with a 2-year-old, the experience was stressful and unsupportive. There was no help offered with accessing the buffet while trying to manage a toddler. Worse still, on two occasions, I came back from the buffet to find our plates and drinks had been cleared away, making me feel rushed and unwelcome.

Overall, while there were some positive aspects like the reception staff and children’s entertainment, the experience didn’t meet expectations. Cleanliness, noise control, and breakfast service seriously need improvement to justify the price charged.
