100% 10/10 5* FANTASTIC

Had two birthday parties for my daughter’s 1st birthday one week apart. 14 people at one and 22 at the next. I couldn’t fault a single thing. We pre ordered-the meals were delivered promptly once everyone arrived and every single person was extremely complimentary of their meal. Will definitely be returning ASAP!

Thank you so much to all the staff who made both weekends truly memorable.

Met up just for drinks with family not seen in 17 years! Managed to get large table. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will look at staying here next time and definitely try the food. Looked delicious

We went to the Dun Cow for food but the staff were not welcoming at all. They ignored us until we asked about ordering. Not one smile from the staff apart from one waitress. The food is very good but the staff need training on how to greet and treat customers.

Xmas meal was very nice, every course was served hot which is rare!!
Roast potatoes were close to impossible to cut but everything else spot on.
Service was average was asked to take plates from servers and then asked to pass dirty dishes is not acceptable in my eyes.
Yet once again we were over charged this has happened three times (we are aware of ) in the last 12 months this time by Β£200+ previous was Β£70 we now check the bill entry by entry!

We ate there for Sunday lunch yesterday, there was 10 of us. , and each and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed the food , the staff were polite and very attentive. I highly recommend the Dun Cow , and will definitely be revisiting in the near future.

Popped in for some lunch and a drink with friends, even though the place was very busy with a wedding reception and lunch time rush,we got served very quickly and made to feel very welcome. The food was very good-chips, excellent , excellent value, and a very good choice,something for everyone's taste.
Will be returning in the near future

We spent two nights here as we were going to Sedgefield Races. This is a traditional pub with good home cooking and a good selection of beers and other drinks. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but excellent value at Β£80 for B&B. The staff were, without exception, friendly and efficient. The Dun Cow seems to be a fixture in the community as the extensive dining room and bar were full on a Tuesday evening and many people also seemed to pop in for morning coffees or lunch. Special thanks go to Mark, the chef, who drove us to the races on a wet day!
