The Chalet is a cosy size perfect for solo travel. I would have loved to spend more time here but was traveling for work but it felt like a holiday in this location. It's just stunning scenery and so quiet with a warm welcome and very straightforward.

The hot tub is a real bonus!
A shame about the weather, but thank you for a lovely time.

We just stayed for five days in Palms 2 and had a great time.

The 'cabin' is very modern and comfortable.
There are two bedrooms each with their own luxurious bathroom and rainfall shower.

The entire cabin is a lovely place to base yourself for a week in the Highlands. The hot tub is perfect for relaxation after a busy day.

Unfortunately we had terrible weather so we couldn't avail ourselves of the jetty or BBQ but if you have better weather they make as nice addition.

The accommodation is isolated, down a long track (lots of passing places) there is a small Premier shop about 3 miles up the road and all the supermarkets in Oban itself.

Geoff came to introduce himself and welcome us which was a nice touch as was the Prosecco, chocolates and tea/coffee/milk.

We'd definitely stay again if we're in the area.
Recommended.

FYI:
There is no parking directly outside the cabins but it may be possible to reverse your car outside for luggage unloading/loading. There is a car park at the bottom of the drive.

We had quite a storm one night and the canopy and struts at the front of the cabin were quite noisy in the high winds.

My husband and I stayed at the Lochside Chalet of Dundonald Landing and we were very pleased. The chalet was equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean, very cosy and peaceful. The view is spectacular!!! The welcome surprise and being checked on to make sure we had everything we needed showed how much they value their customers.

All in all a lovely place to stay. The lodge was clean, a lovely little welcome pack on arrival, quiet location. We loved the hot tub within the pine trees. Beds were very comfortable. Owner very welcoming.

If I was to be picky, I have to say we were a little disappointed, as we booked on the premise that this was overlooking the loch, we actually thought it was on the loch!
It was entirely our fault, as we had just acted on the photos supplied, however, if you read the blurb, it does state 30m away from the loch. We weren't the first to think this too, having spoken to our neighbours in Palm 2, who were equally as dismayed, especially with two younger children and no real place immediately by the lodge. There is a small grass area, but no ball games, which is totally understandable, in case you hit the tiles.

But...don't let this stop you from going, you do have access to the private jetty, grassy area across the road if needed, which is just stunning.

We had basically just misread the advert, but it didn't stop us from having an amazing time. It's still a lovely location, just up in the pine trees! Would recommend to everyone.

I've attached photos of location for reference.

Amazing place though.
