Loved my very brief stay at Dunn's House. A wonderful B&B located in rural Northumberland. The room was basic but functional. It had amenities like tea, coffee (with fresh milk), TV and WiFi. The views over the fells was fantastic to wake up to. Breakfast was really nice and cooked to order at a time of your convenience. The owner was lovely. Strongly recommended for a break away in that part of the country.

A lovely welcoming lady who was the perfect host! I'll definitely be back. Located just off the A68 road near Otterburn, it's a lovely tranquil location and the service just couldn't have been any better. The room was spacious and had everything I need.

We have just stayed at Duns Houses Farmhouse for a weekend to attend a wedding at Woodhill Hall. The house is situated in a peaceful location. We were given a warm welcome by Joe and Jane. Our room had fantastic views from the window of the gardens and countryside. There are toiletries, water, coffee & tea making facilities, tv with freeview channels, wifi, hairdryer, beautiful towels and even a hot water bottle for the cooler nights! In the breakfast room there are comfortable chairs and a log burner if you just want to sit and relax. There was everything you would want for breakfast with lots of fruit, yoghurts, breads, jams, and cereals also an excellent cooked breakfast with quality ingredients. Jane was an excellent host and I got the feeling nothing is too much trouble for her. The farmhouse is ideally situated for weddings at Woodhill Hall and Petit Chateau and lots of pubs nearby serving good food. We would definitely recommend and would like to return one day.

I stayed here one night for a wedding in July. The b&b is in a stunning location and is very well looked after. Our room was very big with large windows overlooking the countryside. The room was also very well equipped.||We didn't spend long in the b&b but the staff are very friendly and the location is excellent.||We had a fabulous home cooked breakfast the following morning. ||The only one negative was that it was late when we returned to the b&b and it was not very well lit. It was dark and if I'd been on my own I would have felt very vulnerable.||I would definately recommend.

Stayed for one night at Dunns Houses. Great location for attending a wedding in Otterburn about 4 miles away. I had booked my stay to attend my cousins wedding which was cancelled due to covid, but decided to go ahead with the break anyway. Stayed with my mother and daughter in the Rede room. Nice big room with a double, two singles and a newly decorated ensuite with shower. The house is large, old, surrounded by beautiful scenery and it is still a working equestrian farm. This is an old farmhouse house, so it comes with some creaky floorboards & furnishings are vintage and in character with the house. Don't come expecting boutique chic as you will be disappointed. However there was wifi good enough to keep my 9year old in games and YouTube videos and space, clean air, peace & quiet. Breakfast is selected the night before with various hot options plus cereal, toast yoghurt & juice. The view from the Rede room on a summer evening is stunning with horses, sheep and fields as far as the eye can see. Windows are on two aspects from knee height to ceiling. Stunning, but covered with light coloured curtains which might be problematic for those who don't want to be woken by early morning light. Hot electric shower and bottles of water provided on arrival. The usual tea and coffee facilities in the room. Nice clean fluffy towels, a couple of flies in the room but its summer time in the country! if I was in the area I would stay again.

Stayed here over the weekend as we were attending a family wedding at wood hill hall. |Location is simply wow , looking out over the fields and hills. |As it’s a a working farm a little noise from the animals but nothing that would bother you, |Rooms are large and more than adequate for everyone’s needs. ||The was a big lounge for all rooms to use, which was good for us as we had all rooms so nice for us to relax in. ||There was a really good choice for breakfast and full English was spot on. |Only downside some of our party felt a little rushed at breakfast on the last morning. ||However, on the whole would highly recommended and will be looking to re book to explore the surrounding area .

Myself and partner recently visited this b&b, we arrived around 1 o’clock the day of my cousins wedding to be greeted by a lovely man. He got our keys and showed us to our room. As we enter the room I initial thought I was a nice homely room. After looking closer we realised the bed wasn’t made correctly with very poor bedding, dirt all over the window sill and mould in the shower. I went off to the wedding leaving my partner in the B&B. He was approached by a women who stated it was now going to be £100 rather than £75 because two guests had turned up (I had booked for two guests - double/twin room) I assumed I was a mix up as I knew I had made the booking. The next morning my partner and I decided we didn’t want any breakfast so didn’t leave the breakfast choice sheet out as advised to do. We checked out with a lovely gentlemen who I gave £77 to (I even left a tip). After leaving I received several missed calls and an extremely rude voicemail of the women who works there saying ‘how annoyed she was that we didn’t pay £100, and fair enough you could of have breakfast and we didn’t have enough repect to let her know, and to get back in touch but I highly doubt you will’ I stay in several hotels a year and I have never experience such appalling customer service. It’s massively unprofessional to leave a guest a angry voice main especially when I paid the full amount I booked the hotel for (for 2 people) plus a tip. This had also happened to another couple stay at the same time. Maybe if she wanted more money better rooms and customer service would result in a better tip.
