I was suffering from heightened anxiety when I first came to Cara and was looking for alternative ways to alleviate the symptoms. From the first session Cara put me at ease. She talked me through the process and what each accupuncture point did. Each session was personalised and based on how I was feeling/pulses each week.
After each session I felt more relaxed and anxiety eased considerably.

I originally discovered Cara at Earth Point Acupuncture in late Spring 2024, and began my acupuncture journey in June/July 2024. My understanding of acupuncture was simply, "isn't it something people use when they experience pain?", yet it is so much more than this...

Upon meeting Cara for the first time, I instantly felt comfortable and understood. The intial consultation was an opportunity for Cara to build up a picture of me as a person, mother, child, daughter, friend, employee and everything else in-between. She was patient, understanding and welcoming. I initially started a 6 week course for general wellbeing and curiosity... Little did I know that acupuncture with Cara would become such a significant part of my self-care moving forward.

I was blown away by the way I felt both during and after treatment and began to see the benefits of using acupuncture as a method of looking after myself; mentally, physically and emotionally.

Cara carefully, and skillfully mapped out a treatment plan and each week, the results would help me to manage feelings, and recognise feelings within myself.

After the initial 6 weeks, I was keen to maintain acupuncture appointments and explore other avenues of benefits. I now attended fortnightly, and feel genuine excitement for each appointment.

I benefit not only from the acupuncture, but the opportunity to talk and reflect on the two weeks between each appointment and navigate what feelings I've had or have been experiencing. She ALWAYS knows exactly what points I need and what treatment will be best to boost my wellbeing whilst coaching me through the science and history of acupuncture. I feel like she knows me, completely and feel that she is fully invested in me as a whole person.

I have had treatment for sleep, relaxation, anxiety, stress, energy boosting, menstruation and confidence - to name but a few!

You don't know what acupuncture can do for you, until you try it. Highly recommend, and hope other discover the benefits.
