We had a fantastic stay at Easby Hall – a beautifully restored old country house that blends classic elegance with modern comfort. With only four rooms, it feels peaceful and exclusive.||The owners, who also host, were extremely accommodating – even welcoming us late in the evening – and were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They have a good eye for detail and there's everything you'd expect from a luxury hotel.||What makes this place truly special however is its setting. The hotel overlooks the ruins of Easby Abbey and the River Swale, and there's a lovely, scenic walk (just over a mile) into the historic market town of Richmond - an old market town with a castle - a picturesque, peaceful corner of the world.||We have a personal connection to the area, having got married at the church Easby Hall overlooks, and had often looked at the hall imagining what it would be like to stay there – and it absolutely lived up to expectations. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in every way.

Everyone should stay here at least once. Easby Hall is absolutely stunning from the outside, beautifully appointed inside and set in a fantastic location. The welcome was extremely warm, the room furnished to the highest standards and the view of the Abbey was icing on the cake! Breakfast was better than we've had in many high-end hotels. |We will definitely be back!

This is our second visit here and it doesn’t disappoint. The owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast here is amazing and Trish is gold. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she is so friendly and polite she’s an asset to this guest house. If you are in the area then come try it out. This place is our chill out area after busy times at work

What an absolutely amazing place in a breathtaking location. Karen was an exceptional hostess and nothing was too much trouble for her . A special mention also to Tricia who cooked and served us breakfast which was delicious and everything was freshly cooked and many of the ingredients grown in the wonderful kitchen garden. The rooms are both luxurious and comfortable and we stayed in the Abbey Room with gorgeous views of the Abbey and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and couldn’t fault it in any way. We will definitely return.

This is a gem of a guesthouse. John welcomed us, our room and bath were on the ground floor, and we felt like we were in a home. Breakfast was outstanding and you could order whatever you wanted. Both the tea and the coffee were strong and delicious. We received great recommendations for dinner spots. The grounds have lots of places to sit and read and relax. I would love to return!

What an amazing place. From arrival to departure we were made to feel so welcomed. Karen and John are delightful and there are so many little touches that made our stay so memorable. From the beautiful luxurious bedroom to sumptuous breakfast in the drawing room with roaring log fire, you will be amazed at the wonderful grandeur this Georgian country house offers. A stay you will never forget!

Spent 3 days of exceptional comfort. The hosts were fun and unpretentious despite this being a very, very high-end property. It was cosy we had drinks in the Hut and the Summer House not to be missed. Check out the kitchen garden this is why the food was spectacular. The beds were to die for slept like a log, the bedding of the highest quality, soft and so cosy. The bathrooms are big and outstanding. Surrounded by history, great walks, quietness, comfort and unbeatable service, going again soon.

Easby Hall is the very epitome of deluxe accommodation. From the moment you step through the door of this impressive Georgian residence you feel transported to a bygone era and cocooned in luxury. |The decor throughout is beautiful (I especially loved the East entrance with blue and silver wallpaper and artwork adorning the walls up a sweeping staircase.) All three bedrooms are stylishly furnished, very quiet, and the beds incredibly comfortable. There’s a great deal of attention to detail throughout: newspapers in the sitting room, bedrooms equipped with coffee and tea-making, complimentary upmarket products in the bathrooms and of course if you need anything at all, there are the charming hosts Karen and John Clarke who make you feel very much at home. Nothing is too much trouble for them or their chef, Tricia, who produces top-notch breakfasts that are fit for a king! She uses fresh, organic ingredients from their garden in everything she prepares from the fresh rhubarb compote, jams and delicious cakes to freshly made oat milk. |With its gorgeous gardens, superb views, stunning riverwalks within easy reach of Richmond, Easby Hall has everything you wish for a perfect luxury break.|It is without doubt one of the nicest places we have stayed so it will come as no surprise to learn we have already booked a return trip.|
