Booked for just one night B&B on a ferry stop over. Room and bathroom were good and spacious and dog friendly. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and plentiful although that did mean a little wait. Initial impression at reception belayed the above good points as needs a refresh. Proprietor/staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely welcome by the owner. This was a great location to visit Bournemouth and the beaches. The free parking was a bonus as you can walk into Bournemouth town centre which isn’t far. The room was big, lovely and clean with great facilities. Breakfast was very tasty with an excellent menu to choose from. We also enjoyed the history of the hotel as it was formerly the home of Stewart Granger and his mum. We will definitely be back.

Great hotel. We enjoyed a 5 day break. Good location for walk to Bournemouth Town Centre & beach, comfortable sizeable room, car parking, excellent, helpful host (Andrew). Would recommend and will definitely use again, when in Bournemouth.

Horrible, very dirty, very poor breakfast, for 3 days the towels were never changed, the bed was never made. I paid 340 for 2 nights and it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life

Very spacious family room, nice owner, well located 5 mins walk to the beach and about 10-15 mins to the restaurants and shops in the town centre

Lovely cosy little cottage, with an ideal location of about 10mins (walking) from the beach front which is ideal for walkers and about 20mins (walking) from the train station! So if you are on foot 100% recommend the location. The cottage is situated on a road (there was some noise but nothing major) however it wasn’t much of an issue but if that’s a concern for you I’d bear that in mind. ||The room was clean and tidy, very cosy and felt homely which was nice, a little small for the price and the tv was rather small. But the facilities were amazing, fridge, hairdryer, big towels and wardrope, table! So 10/10 facilities! ||Breakfast was included and was very good service and yummy! ||Overall very satisfied with our stay! 🙂 thank you!

Had a warm welcome from the owner. We were pleasantly surprised when we went to our room. The room and ensuite were both spotlessly clean and bed comfortable. Towels and soft furnishings were in good condition. Breakfast was good. We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer.||All the communal areas were clean. The hotel is small without some of the amenities of larger hotels but is excellent value for money compared to other local hotels. Would definitely return.
