When we arrived we was meet by Bev & Ian,who were lovely & friendly. Bev showed us our room & said if anything we need to just let her know. Room was beautiful, very spacious with a bed so Big,then through to a massive bathroom which lead to yet another bedroom. The scenery was beautiful, watching the herons, ducks & fish every morning at breakfast, which was very nice aswell

We stayed in the b &b and it perfectly suited our needs. We were glamping the night before and had to leave due to a storm hitting the tent. I'm so glad we found this B &B. It was peaceful, tranquil and Beverley was very accommodating. The room layout was perfect as there was an adjoining bathroom that led onto the kids twin room.

My eldest son is autistic and can find noise and new surroundings very difficult. This b & b was perfect for him as it was incredibly quiet, in a homely setting and he absolutely loved it here. The continental breakfast was lovely and the home made jams were out of this world. If we are visiting the area again we will definitely be back.

Beautiful place for a holiday! Highly recommend as a holiday location with a group - super sociable.
My only recommendations would be if they provided bin bags etc to save bringing them, bigger cups for tea and nicer cutlery.

The house was amazing But considering it cost £1200 for 3 days I thought there weren't enough toilet rolls or washing machine liquid. We didn't mention it but the end bedroom has a step down that my daughter fell down while holding here 4 week old baby nearly falling on top of him I saw her fall and went to her assistance and then I fell over as well. I was ok but my daughter twisted her ankle really badly which ruined her weekend and she's still in pain 2 weeks later. I think people should be aware of this step in the future.

Just got back from a 3 night break in kingfisher lodge at east Dunster deer farm , and wow what a beautiful place ! Finished to a very high spec and the location was simply stunning . The lodge had everything that you could need and was large and super clean. The bed linen and towels were of a very high quality and the beds were simply enormous! Everything felt very decadent. The location was breathtaking so peaceful , the wildlife we saw incredible . Sitting in the hot tub watching the deer , ducks , geese and a beautiful heron couldn’t have been any more magical. We ended our stay with drinks sat around the fire pit. We meet the hosts daughter , husband and lovely baby ( as the hosts were away ) and they couldn’t have been more welcoming , and the biscuits and Prosecco waiting for us on arrival was just the cherry on the cake ! We wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend this beautiful lodge , thank you

We stayed at “The Otters” and had a brilliant stay. Everything we needed for the week for adults and kids - even managed to cook a roast dinner for 16 with no issues. | Beautiful views from the hot tub, and wonderful to watch the deer passing every evening. | Great location to get to Tiverton and surrounding areas. | Only downfall was the attention to cleaning detail. The general cleanliness was great but on closer inspection lots of cobwebs behind doors, dust under beds, extreme lime scale in kettle, Umbrellas for outside were both broken so couldn’t be used, stairgate didn’t actually lock so was more of a hazard. | None of these points ruined our stay but are definitely improvements that could be rectified, particularly for the amount of money we paid to stay

What an incredible place! If you're looking for the perfect getaway, this is it. This was our best 'staycation' so far and made my Mum's 60th Birthday extra special.
I was finding it difficult to find lodge holidays for larger groups that still looked luxurious, until I found East Dunster Deer Farm.
We booked both Kingfisher Lodge and Deer Park Lodge together which are right next to each other, separated by a fence, but you can still access both via gates at the back. You don't realise just how big and spacious these lodges are until you arrive. They both sleep up to 6 people each. The interior is lovely, stylish, clean and airy. The master bedrooms in both have an en suite and all bathrooms are wet rooms which look modern and spacious. The lodges contain pretty much everything you need for a self catering holiday all kitchen utensils, cups glasses, chopping boards etc are available. (There is a hoover, mop, ironing board/iron and hairdryers too). Kitchen and utility room include two fridges, a freezer, dishwasher and two sinks. Both lodges have hot tubs with a beautiful outlook of the countryside. I'd highly recommend star gazing at night in the tubs, we even saw the Space X Starlink Sattelite one night, which was only visible for 3 minutes, so we were lucky to catch it. The lodges have a BBQ each too which we took full advantage of in the lovely sunny weather. (BBQ utensils are also provided). There is ample seating outside for both lodges and tables.
The lodges are all very well spaced apart and private compared to other lodge holidays I've seen. The location is so peaceful and relaxing and the views are absolutely outstanding. It's wonderful seeing the deer up close and they're very curious. We also spotted other wildlife, bats, birds, toads, herons etc. If you're a nature lover like me you will love this place! There are large ponds in front of the lodges which you are able to take a nice wander around too. There's lots of local countryside walks nearby.
The owner Bev is so lovely and is available if you ever need anything or have any questions/ problems. Luckily everything was perfect and we had no issues at all whilst staying. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back in future.
Tiverton is about a 15 minute drive away and has plenty of shops for anything you might need.
