Lovely night away with my partner on a golf and spa weekend. Hotel is clean and well kept, rooms are really nice, we got upgraded to a family room which was huge. Spa is clean and nice cushioned sunbeds around the edge. I had a 25 minute back massage and I can honestly say it was one of the best I have ever had (sorry I didn’t get my therapists name but she was fantastic).
Dinner was lovely although drinks and food is very expensive. We were served by Cody who was brilliant, really good service always with a smile and made us feel really at ease. The bar staff could learn a lot from Cody about customer service as they were very miserable and borderline rude.
My partner was meant to be playing golf today but unfortunately because of the weather the course was closed, because of this they gave us a voucher to come back and use the golf course again which was a lovely touch, the lady in the golf pro shop was really nice and helpful. Also the lady at the driving range was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the course.
Overall a lovely stay in a clean hotel and spa, shame about the weather for the golf but we would definitely return!

We arrived at check to reception who were very helpful and friendly. We booked the classic room which was much better than we expected with an incredible view from the balcony. The room was a good size and the WiFi was strong. Unfortunately the beds were uncomfortable and a little too firm for our liking. I woke several times in the night with a bad back. However the shower was absolutely fantastic and would give that 10/10! The spa was nice, swimming pool nice and big and spacious for a good swim. The sauna was not very hot due to door not closing properly, however the sauna in the health spa across the other side was much better. All other rooms within spa were lovely although would’ve liked another hot tub as it was quite small and always fully occupied.||||The food in the bar was somewhat disappointing and took a very long time to come. I ordered the Caesar salad which had far too much sauce for my liking and I couldn’t finish it. My mum had the “green one” which she enjoyed. The food at dinner in the restaurant was disappointing and the pork main course was far too tough and chewy for both of us. We found no fault with the service staff and they were very attentive and friendly. The drinks in the bar took a long time to arrive but this was due to a wedding party and this was explained to us. ||||Breakfast was good and there was a lot of variety. The eating area is airy and spacious and again staff very friendly and attentive. ||||Overall this is a good hotel and I would be happy to come back for a day spa but unfortunately not for the night as the beds were not comfortable for us.

Me and my partner used a voucher for a night away ,Breakfast was nice and dinner was satisfactory.Service staff was really nice and professional made us feel very welcomed so as reception staff.
Spa and health club on the other hand was a bit disappointing, it was around 5 pm when we arrived at the pool and there was almost 20 people in the swimming pool and 10 people in sauna,it was like a public swimming pool.It was not very hygienic around the pool either.
We had treatments , treatment area was clean and relaxing.Although when we first walked in it took a while for staff to welcome us /talk to us .
Treatment staff was friendly and professional .However, the treatment itself was not satisfactory and I would not recommend to have the ultra nourishing wrap.My partner had a facial and he recommends that.

Lovely hotel. Complimented with huge, modern clean rooms. Very competitive room rates. The bar menu is well priced but not very comprehensive. The restaurant whilst offering a wider choice is somewhat expensive for a business traveller. Shame really, otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Lovely spa break. Hotel rooms and food nice. Spa treatments and facilities lovely. Quite a busy venue and bar can get a bit noisy, specially if it's raining and no golf, but not a problem to me. One let down, I wasn't advised gym was undergoing a refurbishment on booking but at least this means they now have a new up to date facility.

We came to have cream tea here for my Nan’s 90th Birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff were so helpful and welcoming from the start. A big shout out to Cody for going above and beyond to make my niece and Nan enjoy their special birthdays! Food was delicious and even had goodie bags to bring home what we couldn’t finish! Definitely would recommend

Just visited for a Couples Spa Weekend. Spa staff were lovely friendly and helpful, spa facilities were clean and tidy. Hotel checkin staff were very helpful and very knowledgeable. Our room being a suite was clean and tidy, but in much need of a renovation, the decor looked tidy and the join in the carpet was lifting. The restaurant staff in the evening were very friendly and attentive, and were very helpful with allergies. Morning breakfast was where the service was let down, we was advised that items on the breakfast menu with a * carried a supplement. I ordered a “Full Sussex” and my wife ordered a “Full Vegan” around 10 minutes later we was advised that the “Full Sussex” carries a supplement charge! I have attached a picture of the breakfast menu, I struggle to see, and maybe I am missing something, but can’t see within the text any mention of a supplement for either breakfast. The staff said we had to go to the buffet counter for the cooked breakfast otherwise everyone would be requesting the “Full Sussex” breakfast. We would use the Spa again, but at the moment would not be able to recommend the hotel and restaurant.
