I stayed here for 4 nights whilst attending a course nearby. ||I had booked a single room, but was upgraded to a double, which was a lovely gesture. ||The room was spotlessly clean, with modern dΓ©cor.||I had to spend a lot of time in there studying in the evening, and I found it comfortable to do so.||The host was welcoming and friendly. Her cooked breakfasts are superb. They really fill you up and are high quality. ||The B&B is well located, and there is ample parking with the pass provided.||I would definitely recommend staying here if you are stopping over in Carlisle, and if I am in Carlisle again, this is the place I will be heading for!

Just got back from staying at East View and totally second everything written about it above. The B&B is spotlessly clean and comfy. Breakfast was amazing. Our room was very tastefully decorated and smelled beautiful. Really gorgeous bathroom. Julie was the perfect hostess and we really could not find a single fault during our stay there. If you are considering Carlisle make East View B&B the one you choose. You will NOT be disappointed. 10/10

Stayed here for one night when visiting old friends. I lived in Carlisle for many years so know the town very well and knew the location of East View was ideal for access to the town centre and easy to get to from the M6 motorway. ||||It was a very wet and cold day (June!) when I arrived and I was glad of the nice warm room. The bathroom was particularly nice, having been refitted very recently. The bed was not the most comfortable but it was only for one night. The property has limited parking and I was not able to get a space but I was given a permit which allowed me to park on the street behind the premises.||||Breakfast was very nice and although the dining room was busy, I found the people I shared a table with to be good company and we all agreed the guest house was worth recommending and was good value for money.||||If you are visiting the wonderful city of Carlisle, give East View a try. You will be glad you did.

I stayed here for a evening football game at Carlisle FC. It is ideally located being 8 mins walk from the ground and 8 mins walk from the city centre. The room was large, clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and the price very reasonable. I would not hesitate to stay here again if visiting Carlisle.

Well located just 5 minutes from the centre of Carlisle. Very spacious room, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast with a good selection of fresh fruit. After completing our Hardians Wall walk a hot bath was very welcome.

There's nothing not to like about this super B&B well situated near the middle of Carlisle. We had an enormous top floor room which was excellently furnished. Outstanding breakfasts topped with welcoming hosts.

I stayed for one night on business. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Host friendly and welcoming. Breakfast great with good choices for the 'non cooked breakfast' types like me! Only issue was a sticking door lock and that was swiftly dealt with at the time and then somebody dispatched to check it out further in the morning. Excellent value and well located - 5 minutes walk from good restaurants and just a couple of minutes more to the train station. (Alexandros was recommended to me by host and it was delicious!) All this and free (working!) wifi - a real boon for the business traveller. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you.

Lorna was a sight for saw eyes after a 15 hour walk. She swapped her shifts so she was there when we arrived at 8pm. Took us to next village for dinner and even offered to pick us up. The room we had was lovely with a very large comfy bed. Breakfast was good to and she was the only person on a week of travels. That went to the effort of buying both oat milk and artificial sweetener.
