Thought we'd stop in to Cheddar on our way to elsewhere. This was the only place we could find open and thought we'd have a quick bite. Relaxed environment offering table service, the coffee was up to a good standard and the experience only got better when the bacon sarnies came out. Proper farmhouse white with half a pig squeezed into it. Definitely use again if in the area.

Perfect cafe well cooked food, I had ham and cheddar and pickle sandwich, ham was excellent. My partner had breakfast, loads of food, not a small snack like a meal, mushrooms cooked lovely and all very hot.

My FAVORITE CAFE in Cheddar ? (It’s my first time in cheddar and this lovely cafe is something I often visit during my stay!) What can I say? Food, Location, Aesthetic and the Staff were all superb! Staff were so kind, accommodating and welcoming. The food also tasted nice especially the soup, afternoon tea and scones! I highly recommend from my experience for anyone visiting cheddar to try this cafe. Although they are quite busy on weekends during lunchtime and gradually become less busy around 2-3pm. Thank you for all the staff who welcomed us! Continue the good work and the good food ?

Very nice café. We had scones, clotted cream and jam. The scones were marvellous!
Sandwich for £8 a bit steeply priced.
Only criticism was the presentation of the food in paper take-away containers when you were sitting outside.

We visited the Edelweiss cafe for a quick cream tea and a scone. And there were both perfect. The scone was all buttery and served with a cream and a delicious strawberry jam. The prices were more than reasonable, the place was very clean and the lady that served us was very polite. We totally recommend it if you visit Cheddar.

Lovely little cafe. The food was great as was the service. One of us wanted something that wasn't on the menu and this was happily accommodated.
