Comfortable stay for two nights in room 21. Safe and easy to use car park, once I found the vehicular gated entrance. I just parked directly outside hotel and double checked for gates on foot as road was quite busy at that time. I would stay there again if visiting NEC!

3 star review ||i have visited this hotel a few years ago before they re modelled and have always been comfortable here and had the best stays and always had the best cocktails and light bites at their bar. but this time i was disappointed and surprised! upon arrival i felt rushed to make payment and there was no real conversation at the minuscule ‘front desk’, arrived to my room and was initially happy until i walked into the bathroom to see the wall had a hole in and tiles had fallen off the wall or maybe just wasn’t put on in the first place, i was always happy to pay the £121 for the room for the night and would quite happily have paid more if i’m honest, thinking the hotel would be better! but it seems like the standards aren’t the same as they used to be, i was at the hotel alone initially setting up ballon’s for my boyfriends birthday until he arrived, 10 mins before he got there he called me and he asked me whats that noise in the background.. it was only the alarm going off for about 15 mins which was right outside my door, it eventually did get turned off so i didn’t panic! then about 45 mins later it started going off again this time for a hour!! i then called the number i received on the email and spoke to the same lady who was at the ‘desk’.. i asked if its possible to turn the alarm off and she said she wasn’t aware it was going off.. which is strange as she was in the exact same building as me and it was like a screaming sound for a whole hour.. eventually she did come and turn it off (i did proceed to take a video recording of the alarm going off just so you can see how loud it actually was! and took pictures of the hole in the wall and the tiles) . i also brought drinks to the hotel alcohol, juice, and fizzy pop.. realised there is a mini bar yes but no fridge? so was drinking warm drinks all night, i really didn’t want to write a bad review but im just surprised that a hotel that only has 14 rooms doesn’t have fridge facilities, has holes in the walls, tiles falling off, and no reception staff but can charge over £100 for a room a night.

Absolutely lovely hotel, top quality throughout. The rooms are so nice, well appointed and everything to such a high standard. Easy check in, come and go as you please, very relaxed but also luxury. Excellent location for the city centre. We really had a superb stay at Edgbaston House and would 100% stay again if in the area. Highly recommended!

Comfortable room with elegant if slightly knocked around entrance hall. Nice bathroom with secure parking at the rear. Not attended so you’re met by a greeter who then leaves and no meals are available although there’s an excellent friendly pub nearly opposite.

Gorgeous property, the styling is beautiful, room was very comfortable. Plenty of parking at the rear of the property for residents. A lovely peaceful setting within a large city like Birmingham. Highly recommend this property. Different from the usual hotel having no reception, but this did not impact our stay. The staff we did meet, were very helpful and friendly. There are various eating places nearby. We had breakfast in Edgebaston village, a few minutes walk away. Just lovely.

Lovely hotel, in a great location. The decor is Art Noveau. Room was very comfortable. We stayed in Room 22, it had a shower in the bathroom, and a bath in the bedroom. The bed was comfortable too. There was a member of staff to welcome us, however there is no actual reception, so we felt like we were staying in a private home. The staff member talked us through how to access the parking and property, very easy. Ample parking at the rear of the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Room 18. Noisy as it's by the front door. Sinks in bathroom didn't drain. Plaster on wall damaged. For the money, UHT milk is poor when they could provide real milk in the fridges.||Main issue we encountered was in the middle of the night a machine outside of the room malfunctioned, emitting a high pitched noise, resulting in a really poor night's sleep. No one is on site to resolve the issue. Rang the contact number in the morning but no one called back. Escalated via hotels.com for a refund but it was declined. Just poor service for the cost of the room.

Pretty awful. Stayed in Rm18.
Walls in bathroom had holes in them, flush stopped working, bathroom lights flicker. This room is next to the entrance so impossible to have a peaceful night until everyone is in as there is a crashing noise every time the external door is closed. The protocol is that you can call a number for issues but on calling two times it wasn’t answered.
Has a great location and also potential but just doesn’t deliver.

Can’t add videos that show issues but can’t be uploaded.
