Absolutely! Here’s your updated review with that detail included:|||---||Review of the Edgeton Hotel||I would like to share my experience at the Edgeton Hotel, from the perspective of someone who needed help and support at a difficult time in life—and found it here.||The bed was comfy, the room was clean, and the bathroom was both clean and modern. Each room also has a TV, WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, and a kettle, which was appreciated. Noise was minimal, which is worth noting considering the hotel is open all night to accommodate people booking in or those seeking support.||Breakfast wasn’t quite to my taste, but I had toast, coffee, and apple juice—enough to get me going.||The staff were polite and helpful, and what stood out most was the feeling of being respected and left in peace. The other guests staying there were also polite, which made a difference.||We’re not all blessed, and sometimes we all need a bit of support. On the whole, I would give the Edgeton Hotel a solid 8 out of 10.||Would I book here again as a starting point? Yes. It's a good place just to sleep and find some quiet, and I was thankful to be left alone when I need it

Booked a twin room to stay with my mum after a family funeral as travelled from Norfolk. Check in easy, car park had lots of space. We were in a family room - one double bed, one single, which was fine for us. The room was in the newly refurbished basement and was fresh and clean - fabulous shower room. On arrival the public areas of the hotel were very warm so didn't check the radiator in the room so when we returned around 8.30pm the room was very cold - soon warmed up with radiator turned on - perhaps member of staff could check that radiators are on when they know guests are checking in? The beds were brand new and really comfortable - we had a good night's sleep. We ordered a full English breakfast each with coffee which was brought to the room and was delicious but one of us had to sit at the dressing table to eat and the other on the bed with the plate on the bedside table - given there is ample space in the room for a small table and chairs why not pop one in there for guests dining in their room? All in all a good stay, staff were delightful.

I think Harry Potter had more head room under the stairs than I did in that room. Would have been fine if I was 5 2 but I am 6 3 and I would say there was maybe 2-3 spots in the room where I could stand without bumping my head. Had to pull the bed out from under the eaves as it was just too claustrophobic and was then greeted with the drug paraphernalia left behind by some previous resident. Slept on top of the duvet as it has a musky smell to it. Then to top it all off, water got switched off in the morning, while having a shower, because the workmen had turned up earlier than they were supposed to, so that was fun. No possibility of maybe waiting until the people staying had checked out.  It was cheap and you do get what you pay for.  It wasn't my choice as we were attending a family funeral and others had booked there. Will definitely give this a wide berth in the future.

Booked this hotel for a night as attending a concert at the football ground, paid £70 for a twin room 3 days before our stay its been cancelled.........apparently "overbooked"!
The funny thing is my son-in-law only said the week before our stay there is nowhere under £300 in Huddersfield for that night!
Makes me wonder would it have been overbooked if it was a usual Saturday night in Huddersfield & there wasn't a chance to bump up the price & make a killing!!

Where do I start with this place if I could give it 0 stars I would I have had items stolen parcels and items out of the room the cleaners do not clean properly I found mouldy food and mouldy cups behind the beds and under the beds there was fleas in my room and had to ask multiple times for something to be done and after they apparently flea bombed it I had a flea on me and a bite mark it is riddled with silver fish the staff members are rude and swear at you the breakfast makes you feel sick I would avoid breakfast basic cleaning is not up to standard I have been verbally abused by another guest there was almost a fire twice within 24hours because someone put metal in the microwave the guy on did not seem bothered when 2 guests meals went up in flames it took alot to convince him to change the microwave as he originally said it will be fine I would honestly refuse to use the microwave if i was you and keep all belongings secure I have also had a xbox break in the process but when I told the staff I have been stolen off 4 times each time one happened they did nothing and the same for my xbox and what we learnt in December somebody sadly died there and someone else tried taking there own life avoid at all cost
