We booked to stay at Edwin Haven as we wanted somewhere in the area a) close to the coast and b) dog-friendly. If this is your criteria, then you really couldn't hope for anything better.||||The first thing to note is just how clean the place is, and I mean spotlessly clean. You really wouldn't think anybody had stayed there previously, never mind people with dogs, and I want him to come and clean my house! ||||The host has also thought of everything to ensure comfort and ease, including leaving jugs of water and a filled kettle so you don't have to keep refilling plus lots of treats and toys for your canine guest. ||||He also kindly provided a dog-sitting service as we wanted to go out for a meal - Sea&Soil is a really great restaurant within a 5 min walk btw - and it was reassuring to know that she would be well looked after for a few hours. When we got back for the evening the bed was comfy and the area is very quiet.||||For breakfast there was a great choice of cereals to accompany the traditional full English with a range of teas to choose from. ||||All in all, there's nothing more to say other than I couldn't recommend this highly enough as a place to stay with your dog.

We stayed for just one night as we had an event to attend but still wanted to take our dog. Edwin Haven B&B and it's excellent host Matthew, proved the perfect place to stay because Matthew provided both dog sitting and dog walking services meaning Luna wasn't left unattended and lonely in a strange place||The accommodation catered really well for both dogs and human guests with a very comfortable bed (and dog bed!), extremely well equipped, clean rooms (plus very own sitting/breakfast room) and bathroom and an excellent. So clean you wouldn't think furry guests had been staying here. Finally a well cooked breakfast with fresh produce and lots of choice made the perfect end to our stay.||We would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a truly dog friendly, access all areas accommodation and a great host who genuinely likes caring for people and his four legged guests!||Thank you Matthew x|PS Luna looks forward to her return 😊

One of the cleanest nicest B&B places I have ever visied. Nothing is too much trouble for Matt (owner) and he made our dog feel as welcome as us. Brilliant breakfast and the facilility to bring in you own take-aways for dinner is wonderful and makes the accomodation seem like a cross between your own cottage and a B&B. We felt it was unique so much so we have stayed twice recently and look foward to returning early next year.

A real home-from home. You have sole use of a lounge downstairs, so can relax/watch TV/eat a takeaway if you don't want to eat out. Then upstairs is the bedroom & bathroom. All very modern & recently renovated. Dogs made to feel 100% welcome & the owner offers dig sitting if you want to visit a castle/ the puffins or a non-dog friendly restaurant.||Great breakfast, with massive choice of every type of tea/ 3 types of milk etc . Owner really friendly & helpful. Loads of up-to-date information of what to do. Had we known about this place, we would have based ourselves there for our whole trip & then traveled from there each day ... easier than keep on moving around. Easy parking on the road outside (quiet road - no noise) & few minutes walk through the town to the coast.

This house only has one letting room with en suite facilities. The room is up steep stairs but the exclusive use of a ground floor lounge is included in the price. Breakfast is taken in the lounge. Visitors are free to bring in Take-Away food as all crockery and glasses are provided. Fridge for real milk , and TV/DVD player. Many publications about the area and events are provided for reference. The owner is very dog friendly and provides all facilities for dog owners who bring their pet. (we do not have a dog). This even extends to providing a minder service if the guests wish to visit somewhere that does not allow dogs. The house is in the town with restaurants and shops close by. A modest property in a terrace but in immaculate condition. Parking is on street.

We booked without any hassle, liking the personal touches on the website. This place is “dog friendly” as opposed to “dog tolerant”. Our mutt felt right at home. The separate lounge was a real unexpected bonus. A full and complete set of local info is available and the weather and tide times are kept up to date. Truly excellent. My only concern about leaving this review is we will struggle to book our next visit!|

A brilliant place, had a great stay we took our jack russel pup he loved it too. The host was must welcoming and very friendly, the bteakfast he made was the best we have ever had at a B and B. We left today came home and booked again😁. I would give Edwin Haben 10 out of 10
