£5 for a coffee!!! 😡I haven't been here since the new cafe and restaurant opened on the ground floor but decided to stop for a coffee on my way home from walking my dog.
It all looks lovely inside, and I was served by a very polite young man, but having ordered a latte was asked to pay £4.95! I nearly spluttered as I enquired about the size of the mug it comes in, to be shown a regular not particularly large mug.
I know things are getting dear, but £4.95 for a coffee is just pure greed and needless to say I declined. Such a shame, but this place is clearly relying on it's beautiful location to charge inflated prices quite unnecessarily.

Tasty food, didn't quite live up to the hype of other reviewers claiming it's the best kept secret in Sussex/Michelin star level, etc., but nice nonetheless. The service really lets it down, it was painfully slow despite the place being less than half empty, the servers were inattentive and slightly abrasive/passive aggressive at times. It's also overpriced for what you get, and little things like them charging £4 a head to serve a birthday cake you have brought in really takes the mickey. Overall, it's a great location for some wine and nibbles but I'd skip dinner next time.

Booked a table the night before via website and rocked up the following morning for breakfast. Very pleasantly greeted by the staff who offered me a choice of the free tables. Service was consistently excellent, friendly and personable. The food (Bolney breakfast) was utterly epic. High quality ingredients in huge portions, accompanied by a lovely coffee and a great view. Will be back again soon!

This restaurant is THE best kept secret in Sussex and a foodie's dream. It is a wonderful restaurant, well worthy of a Michelin star, for the quality/taste/presentation of food, not to mention the exceptional pairings of the estate's own wines.

The menu was clearly created by a chef that is passionate about ingredients, preparation, presentation, and above all - taste.

The service was also outstanding. Our server, Vanessa and her team provided a level of service that I've only experienced in fine dining restaurants.

I could continue to gush about remarkable individual moments (complimentary drinks, fantastic conversation with the team, the efforts the team went to make our guest's birthday special, the vineyard setting, etc). However, I will simply end by recommending the venue highly - for general dining, a daytime date or a memorable Sunday meal with loved ones.

Try it. You will not regret it!

We have tried twice to have breakfast at the cafe and both times have had to walk away as the first time there was only coffee available on a Monday and today there was no space - even though we were the only car in the car park. We have managed to have lunch in the cafe but one of our party had to wait 10 minutes for the plate after we had been served and we had to remind the waitress twice that we were waiting.

Venue is gorgeous and we really enjoyed our lunch. Based in such a lovely part of Sussex. Service was OK, a bit slow and the odd drink forgotten but they were all very pleasant and friendly.
