Beautiful house ideal large open plan area which is ideal for a big group. The house is well finished and in a quiet area. Don't be put off by the hotel being close by. It is very quiet and it suited my elderly parents who could walk along and enjoy the lovely, freshly cooked food. There is a very warm atmosphere in the hotel. The hotel owner staff, visitors and locals all mix well. There are also a number of visiting cyclists who drop in during the day who are very friendly.

We stayed here for a hen weekend and had an amazing stay here and with such wonderful hosts. Would highly recommend. The house is beautiful and decorated to a very high standard and comes with the most fantastic views. Surrounding areas and local pub all added to the experience.

A great venue for a family gathering for my dad's 60th. Beautifully decorated and well layed out to make the most of the great balcony view. Located right next to the ferry to Bute giving great options for days out. Would definitely go again if I get the chance.

This is a lovely, warm, comfortable and luxurious cottage. We're here with 10 people and it fits everyone with great space. 4 very comfortable bedrooms on the ground floor (2 twin, 2 king size double both ensuite) and a massive master bedroom suite on the upper floor. There is a single lovely large open-plan kitchen / dining / living room with balcony and wood burning stove on the upper floor too. Lovely views.

There are a couple of minor issues (e.g. the dish washer is temperamental) but they have not affected our enjoyment of the property or the holiday.

There is some great (rough road) cycling, pebble beaches, sea swimming and general exploring of Argyll's secret coast.Trips to Dunoon and other parts of the Cowal peninsula are also on the cards.

Much recommended for a beautiful quiet retreat.
