Wonderful hosts and superb food. Particularly the breakfast, I had my best breakfast in years here. Absolutely perfect! Great room with a view! Thank you for a lovely stay. Can't recommend enough!

We had a lovely stay at Elderbrook house with our 5 year-old. The owners went out of they way to help make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We ate at the pub in the evening: typical pub menu but the food was very high quality and the service was great. The pub has a really special traditional community feel to it and we had a great evening. FWIW we also ate at the Red Lion in Avebury during our stay but preferred the New Inn at Elderbrook House in terms of high quality food and character.

The breakfast was also extremely high quality and if we came again we would certainly ask for a packed lunch!

Loads to do in the area: would highly recommend.

I 100% recommend a stay here! I couldn't have asked for better accommodation for my weekend trip to Avebury. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the hotel itself is located in a lovely spot and within easy walking distance to Avebury itself and the rooms were so nice and cosy. The morning views were lovely, though I'm not sure anything can beat the breakfast spread we had (which was included in the price!). I thoroughly recommend a stay here, and I plan to return sometime soon with some other friends of mine. On top of that, we were even given an unexpected goody bag on our departure day filled with snacks and waters for our hike, which was totally unexpected by so very thoughtful of our hosts and it definitely came in handy. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Finding somewhere to stay as close as possible to Avebury with my clients is often a challenge - I like to know where I'm staying is good - but sometimes you have to try somewhere new. So this was a punt .... that paid off.

I love to be in walking distance of Avebury which at 1.5miles across fields this definitely is for me. (Although this time we chose to drive to the stones, I went for a lovely walk after dinner following some of the route.)

The best thing for me is that the suite room ('Robin') means that

a) My client and I can have separate rooms
but
b) I don't have to book two separate rooms and neither of us know if the other is awake!

What is extra special about that room is that the big room (my client's) is vast - a gorgeous super-king bed and fabulous view - and enough space for the two of us to do some of the 'work' part of our stay - with the tub chairs and table and plenty of floor space for spreading paperwork out. Also the bathroom is palatial (my client very much enjoyed the free-standing roll-top bath!)

I never know how often I have my 3-day immersive clients... but I look forward to bringing the next one here.

Cody and Ben (and Matilda & Maya) give you the best of welcomes and dare I say they are undercharging for the service and quality? ... I think I do ... they could easily put their prices up and still be fabulous value.

My wife and I stayed here for one night and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable but the best part was the genuine service and friendly staff. Mya(?) the dog was very friendly and loved a scratch and fuss. The breakfast was amazing, lovely fresh local eggs and honey. We also happened to stay on the day of their supper club where we were able to enjoy a carribean themed dinner. Excellent value and brilliant hosts, will be back for sure. Thank you.

Stayed one night on a cycling trip. Very attentive, intimate, and caring service, opposite of the anonymous brand hotels we’d experienced. Really recommend if you feel like you want to feel like part of a lovely local village pub for a night or two. Big rooms, very comfortable beds, peaceful atmosphere! Oh and good, quality and good value food , too.

Stayed for a night over the summer solstice. Ben and Cody were exceptional !. Fantastic place and hosts. Our room was superb and very large. Beautiful place with lots of plans and with Ben and Cody’s hard work I’m sure they will succeed. Definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
