Lovely clean room. The beds are very comfortable and with good bedding.
Tea and coffee in the room .

I booked this b&b because I was attending a convention at NEC. It's only a 2/3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop which was really convenient. The room was pretty quiet despite being on a dual carriageway and next to the airport.
My room was spotless and had tea and coffee making facilities. There was plenty of room for clothes. The bathroom was also spotless and really nice!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Elm Cottage for one night, travelling from Newcastle to visit the BBC Good Food show at the NEC. We made a last minute booking so were expecting the worst having not researched the place like we normally would but we were pleasantly surprised. Elm Cottage has a great location for the NEC and airport but is also surprisingly quiet and has beautiful surroundings including a garden to the rear, giving our twin room a lovely view. The room was extremely cheap and also included a full English breakfast, which was delicious. The lady who owns the place was very nice, always checking if we needed anything and also gave is great advice on places to park and where we could buy the pillows she uses on the beds in the room, they were SOO COMFORTABLE!!! ...all in all a great place to stay and we would recommend to anyone.

I stayed here for two nights on 5-6 June while working on an exhibit at the NEC, it was in a very convenient location. The single room I had was lovely with a wonderful view of the garden and cost £35 per night for Bed and Breakfast. Room was ensuite with shower, tea/ coffee making facilities and plenty of storage space and a really fantastic freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. The owner asked the night before what time I wanted breakfast and what I wanted so in the morning it was served really quickly.||||There are Morrison’s and Tesco supermarkets just about a mile down the road so it’s very convenient if you want to pick up any snacks.||||There is good free Wi-Fi, I could watch online TV with no problems.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay. We were attending a wedding and needed to arrive a little early, for which Pete was more than accomodating. The rooms were nicely laid out and had good facilities, with plenty of tea/coffee available. ||Breakfast was included in the price, and its one of the best full english's I've had in a long time, with both cereal or yoghurts on offer too, I was stuffed!||I wouldnt hesitate to book here again the next time I'm visiting Birmingham.

We stayed the night when we went to the NEC. You can get a bus just across the road to the NEC for £1.80 one way. Our room was clean and fresh, the bedlinen was clean and fresh and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and our host very pleasant. The hot water tap to the washbasin wasn't working, it seemed to be disconnected in our ensuite shower room, we didn't mind as we stayed during a heatwave, but might mind in if staying in the winter. The shower water was hot. Otherwise we feel we were given excellent value for our money.

I stayed at Elm Cottage for four nights. The cottage is beautiful,near to the NEC and Birmingham Airport but you can't hear any sound from any low flying planes! The beds are comfortable, clean and towels are provided. Beds are made everyday . The owner Pete and his daughter Julie, are pleasant and helpful. Service and breakfast were delicious! Great atmosphere and location. Beautiful garden and with varieties of birds! Parking space too. Highly recommend this place.

From the moment we arrived we were given a really warm welcome by Peter. Our rooms were beautifully appointed and everything was immaculate. We were given lots of choices for breakfast and it was all delicious particularly the full english breakfast. I would certainly recommend this lovely B&B to friends and family. A great location if you are visiting the NEC.
