A warm welcome, attention to fine detail in each room, immaculate, a wonderful night's sleep followed by a full english breakfast cooked to order by Sue and served by John in their beautiful farm house. Perfection. It will be our first choice next time we visit Leicestershire or Nottinghamshire .

This was my third stay, and won't be my last. I stayed in the cosy cottage, which has a wonderfully well equipped kitchen, with views of the lovely garden. The cottage is warm and welcoming, and is just so very peaceful. I sleep better here than I do in my own bed at home! Breakfast is a real highlight. Everything is done with such care and attention: Sue and John really are the perfect hosts. ||||I have stayed here with my children, but this time it was just me: I needed some peace and quiet to get some work done on my laptop. The cottage has wifi, so it was perfect for me. I also took a evening stroll into the village centre (5 minute walk) to the lovely little shop. This is such a good location for a relaxing stay. If you are thinking of booking then my advice is go for it! You won't be disappointed.

We were made to feel very welcome in this spotlessly clean, warm farmhouse. Best home-made shortbread and fried breakfast ever. Highly recommended. Our heartfelt thanks to John and Sue for their hospitality.

This is the third time we have stayed here. We stayed in the beautiful little cottage which has everything you need. So homely. Wonderful hosts and leaving as milk and homemade cake on arrival. They provide a fantastic breakfast in the morning. The bed very comfortable and the pillows are something special. Love it here

Sue and John were very welcoming, excellent breakfast, a comfortable home in very pleasant surroundings. We were made welcome and enjoyed chatting with our hosts. The Cottage was cosy although a bit tight on space in the Bedroom. Lounge and Kitchen were good spaces.

My wife, daughter and I were on a driving holiday of the UK with no planning except stop when we wanted to. We were advised to stay at Elms Farm by locals, so glad we did. We stayed in the cottage, such an excellent building, well appointed and so comfortable.||Our hosts were brilliant, the breakfast superb and the overall stay 110 out of 100!!

Super cottage. Clean with all the facilities you need. Beautiful garden. Very relaxing atmosphere. Also, the people of Long Clawson were very friendly and accommodating. Mr and Mrs Whittard were perfect hosts. I'm going back in September

Great bandb. Lovely couple. So heloful. Excellent breakfast. Rooms spotless. Nothing to much trouble. Strongly recommend. Excellent situation 6 miles from Melton Mowbray. Gave us a lift to next village for evening meal as local pub not serving food
