I've just been and treated myself to a Wash House experience and blow dry at Elwoods Loudwater with Lou and it was amazing!! The Wash house experience was so relaxing and thorough and the blow dry was lovely. I left there feeling very pampered and relaxed! Highly recommend!

Was thinking about getting a men’s perm so I thought I’d enquire and ask some questions such as whether or not my hair is suitable and they took their time to sit me down and discuss it and answered all my questions. We booked a date and the service was so lovely. I was quite nervous about the result but the hairdresser made sure I was comfortable and she was lovely. My hair came out incredible and I couldn’t be happier. Will be coming back in future!

I had the best wash and blowdry / style ever here with the most lovely Lauren . She was so professional, so considerate making sure my awful flat fine hair stayed as she had expertly made it looking all day and night for my best friends wedding . I have been to so many central London salons that do a mediocre job with a weighty bill and with a horrible atmosphere . This salon makes you feel soo welcome and a star for the time you are there . The girl washing my hair was extra lovely too ! The only problem now is I live so far away from Loudwater 🙂

You do not think of a haircut as an emotional experience but boy, was this emotional for me. My mum has moderately severe dementia and needed a haircut desperately. I rang the salon, explained the situation and asked if possible, could I stay with my mum during the cut. The gentleman I spoke to said "Of course, and I have just the person for you, Louise".

Well, Louise is an angel. She was so kind and friendly, welcoming us at the door. Mum was a little disoriented but Louise guided her to and from the wash station, holding her hand along the way. I got choked up and shed some tears as it is a killer seeing your once vibrant mum so vulnerable. However, Louise was so understanding and handed me some tissues. We had a good chat in between the haircut and she did a fabulous job on mum's hair; it is now very manageable. Even though mum was quiet during the cut, when we got home she told me that she was happy with her hair and that Louise was really lovely.

It was no surprise that multiple people called during mum's appointment, wanting Louise to do their hair. She is a credit to the salon and she will be my go-to hairdresser for mum from now on.

Thank you for making this emotional experience so much easier for us.

Went there after reading all the great reviews. The person who took care of my hair was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the work done on my hair. It was a very simple style but still I could feel that she didn’t have the right technics to cut hair. For me paying £55 for that result was a total waste of money. I feel sorry to write this review because she was very friendly, but I have to be honest.

I’ve just moved to the area and had the most wonderful experience. I asked for a simple re-colour and trim but Karen went above and beyond to make me feel and look beautiful. She listened to me every step of the way, I never felt pressured or silly for not being sure what I wanted. She even took the time to show me how I could style my hair to show off my new look. I’m usually very nervous getting my hair done but I can safely say I will return to Karen with confidence. Feeling blonde and beautiful ready for summer!
