Not good enough. I waited 50 minutes for three simple meals on December 17th. After waiting for 30 minutes, I was informed that one of the meals was unavailable and had to choose an alternative. The restaurant had customers but was not nearly full, and I wouldn't say it was busy. When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing. The presentation was poor; the chips were overcooked on the outside and undercooked in the middle. The avocado and chicken wrap was messy, and the chicken and bacon were so chewy that we had to leave them. Overall, it was a very disappointing lunch and experience, certainly not worth the £35 we paid for it. What a shame.

Visited couple weeks ago and was served by young lad jake was very polite. The salt and peppa chicken was to die for food was well presented. Didn't wait long for the food. Will visit again in very near future. Thank you

First visit here as our usual venue for family meals has closed down. We really enjoyed it, the food was better than where we used to go. We ordered a rump steak and a beef and red wine lasagne, both were very nice indeed. Service is friendly, the tables are cleaned regularly and music is not too loud so you can have a conversation. We will definitely be back here soon.

Our waitress was Nikki on Monday and it was absolutely outstanding customer service. She was very helpful and kind and had and an amazing sense of humour.
I recommend the Woodpecker to all my family and friends. Alongside the high standard service the food was also incredible.

Roast dinner was good except the meat had dried out, great roast potatoes and Yorkshires, veg was good too, no sauces offered. Drinks were good as was dessert and the pub was very clean and there was a good atmosphere. The TV was showing the FA cup matches which customers had settled to watch but the music playing loudly spoilt made for a noisy experience. Dogs are allowed and are catered for.

Recently visited with my partner and child, was greeted by Jake who instantly made us feel welcomed and paid us consistent attention to make sure our needs was met. He also showed us how to download the ember ins app to get money off out food on the next visit. He’s truely a great credit to the team. I found the food very affordable and portions were adequate. Overall a solid 10/10 meal out and will definitely visit again.
