We stay here as a couple monthly and always have a great stay. The rooms are clean and well presented - comfy bedding and they will provide extra pillows upon request. The TV’s are of a good size and have streaming services built in. Fridge in the room which is super handy. The bathrooms are slightly on the smaller side but are modern and always clean to a high standard.

There is a shared kitchen available to use ( which could use some cutlery) but there is pots, pans and plates and a big shared fridge freezer and there is cleaning equipment available for use.

Staff are super friendly - especially Chris. Whenever we’ve checked in he’s been there promptly and if we’ve ever needed anything he’s been available to contact and happy to assist us. Overall a great place to stay. Think the other reviews are a little harsh. Absolute bargain for what you get!

This is the worse place I have ever stayed as an adult! Firstly, there is no sign to indicate that the location is a hotel. There were no instructions you should call upon arriving, and if you had the number, sometimes the call was answered and sometimes not. There was no reception to deal with any questions or issues, such as calling a taxi or what to do with the key upon leaving. I arrived at 2230, it was dark and as a solo female, I did not feel comfortable outside or inside. When a person did arrive with a key to a room, they were on the phone and spoke to me as if I was a major inconvenience. There were no instructions or welcome - I was simply given a key and told my room was #2. This was then on the ground floor, which did not feel safe. There were no real blinds or curtains in the room, so it was possible for people to see into the room from the street. Also the windows were not sound proof, so could hear the boy racers and people walking by on the street, only a few metres away. The lock on the door, was a very simple turn knob lock, which is in no way secure. If I had a car, I would have immediately left and gone to the Travelodge, which sounded like heaven in comparison. The room appeared clean, but there was black mold in the shower. There was a kettle and mugs (possibly clean) in the room, but no tea or coffee or milk. Upon exploring, discovered there was a kitchen, I presume for visitors use, but it was disgusting, and I was not sure if this was available to me. ||I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

Checking in was easy, this was done over the phone because this property isn’t staffed. There was a problem with a couple who was arguing and shouting until 2am the police attended. I rang the mobile number twice but no one will pick up. The next day I spoke to Chris who answered the phone he didn’t care about the problems. Encore rooms also manage Crosgrove Bed & Breakfast.

We booked this room as the price of the stay would be cheaper than a taxi back the village where we live. To be honest, knowing the location we were more than a little dubious about what to expect but to the risk anyway. The room was spotlessly clean and well furnished with ample towels, kettle, large TV and ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there is a small shared kitchen which would be used breakfast or warming up a pizza at night. ||We would certainly consider staying again when we have another night out in Scunthorpe.||Only criticism would be that something better needs to be done with the keys; maybe a series of lock boxes outside where the passcode is given to the guest to the key can be easily retrieved and left.

ONWER NEVER LET ME IN...||I did not even end up staying here....I arrived at 8pm (last check in stated online as 9.30pm) and tried to ring the owner for TWO HOURS and they never answered the phone to let me in. I contacted booking.com (who I booked through) and they also could not get in contact with the property. I am a young woman and was left alone outside this property with no way of getting in! Still not had a reply or apology from the property. ||Property was hard to find- no light on or signs. ||Ended up staying at the Travelodge 1 mile down the road- 100% recommend this as alternative to encore rooms- late check in was available, safe parking and restaurants close by. DO NOT book encore rooms.

all in all, pretty alright for the price. I stayed upstairs, so no grown men hammering on on the window anytime of day or night. 😗 en suite bathroom is small, but does the job.

Shared kitchen facilities are basic and functional, with a good selection of groceries across the street at Sainsbury’s.

You might hear your neighbors tv, but for the most part, luckily I didn’t have too many noisy neighbors.

Oh, and if you’re planning a long stay, be warned there’s no access to laundry facilities.

Lovely place to stay, clean, bright well spaced out and secure.
Bed is super comfortable.
Widows fully open so yu can get lots of air in and when shut blocks out allot of external noise.

Shower is great! You are not bashing your elbows.

Location is great too! Right in town and there is bug Sainsbury's just ajasent.
Has a nice feel going into your accommodation. Feels like it's your own personal apartment.

But best off all they have access to Netflix! Was amazing as 9 time out of 10 there is absolutely nothing on the terrestrial channels! And having access to Netflix was a super huge bonus for me! A+++++
The only down side was the fact there was
limited free parking spaces
And no tea or milk in the room.

As it is a new hotel i thought it had a very modern look about it. The room i had was smallish but as i was on my own it was adequate. The facilities were great and the bathroom very good. I never tried the breakfast (hungover) but my impression of the hotel was clean, friendly staff and i would definitely stay there again.
