We had the most gorgeous stay at Englefield Guesthouse, right in the heart of Heartbeat village of Goathland "Aidensfield". Liz and Steve are wonderful, hospitable, friendly and welcoming hosts. They make you feel like the guesthouse is your home. It is decorated with so much heart and soul and is so unique and relevant to the location, which I think is amazing! Breakfast is wonderful and comes with the views of the fields and moors, hares, horses and even lapwings! Location is ideal, gorgeous walks from doorstep. Bed was comfy and both rooms and bathroom were spotless and dorned with top quality everything! Such a perfect treat for us.. thank you Liz and Steve.. we will be back! 😊

Just arrived home with friends after a 2night stay liz and steve are the perfect host's friendly and professional. The guest house itself is unique i found it fascinating spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was top notch and plenty of it delicious. The bed comfort is honestly the best I've ever slept in ,we will definitely be returning.

Stayed here with friends for the weekend. It is the perfect location, set in the middle of Heartbeat Country. The rooms were first class, with great comfy beds. Liz and Steve were the perfect hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice of breakfast including a full English. Will definitely be back.

Stayed 2 nights, absolutely fantastic, inside decor matches the local Heartbeat location and NYMR being a 5 minute walk from the station or shops this is perfect for those looking for a quiet place to stay with access to the local tourist spots and walks, our hostess was very cheerful and friendly happy to help and answer any questions we had while making sure we had our privacy, the rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely plan on returning in future.

Liz and Steve have the perfect place. Large room which is light and airy. A bath which was great after a long day walking and very close to tearooms and the Inn on the Moor hotel which has amazing food Liz’s breakfast was superb

Absolute gem of a place. Lovely and clean with very welcoming hosts. We stayed in Greengrass which was a lovely spacious room. Very well furnished with a great power shower in the en suite. Lovely cooked breakfast around a huge table alongside the other guests with stunning views across the open fields. The collection of vintage memorabilia which decorates the building is fantastic ( more like a mini museum ).We loved our stay and hope to return again in the future. Thank you.

Everything was perfect - good location for exploring the local area and coast. The hosts were super friendly and nothing was too much bother. The room was spacious and furnished beautifully with en-suite with whirlpool bath. Full English delicious - perfect in every aspect and very quirky and very clean

What a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend. Breakfast was really great. Our room was awesome. Green grass is my favorite character so it was nice to stay in the room decorated for him
