Came here for dinner everyday on our 3 days in Rothesay. This is one of the few places open for dinner in Rothesay and they serve delicious hearty meals. Servers are friendly and attentive. Can get very busy depending on the number of visitors to the island.
Prices are reasonable. Great views. Definitely would return.

I was living in a B&B nearby. It's was called Sunnyside .We needed good food and we asked the lady we were staying with. She recommended this place, I can't thank her enough. It was so very good we went 2 days in a row, the food was impeccable, so tasty everything and I mean everything was beautiful, the peppercorn sauce was so good, the macaroni was chef's kiss the grilled sea bass..... I could go on, it's just as you get of the ferry. And this might be just me but it's good good like yer granny made ye. 👌

Lovely food if a little expensive. Frong house staff are very welcoming. Wen t on two nights and really enjoyed. If going in summer I would suggest that it would be worth booking, as it can be rather busy. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in Rothesay.

Lovely cosy and warm room with a double and a single bed!! Bathroom was great and even had a bath but was really cold though with no heater. There was a good selection of tea and coffee provided, however the milk was very out of date. Some of it was cheese!! Would maybe be better with a small jug of fresh milk.

We were here covering research on 61st Highland Anti-Tank Regiment who have their home here in Rothesay. The restaurant sits on Hicks corner who was the old Major of the original Regiment 51st West Highland Anti-Tank Regiment captured at St Valery during the evacuation at Dunkirk. We had a nice meal and our waitress was a very nice and friendly lady.

Dropped in on the off chance of getting a table on a Saturday early evening. The restaurant was busy but we got a table. The outside of the building is in need of a lick of paint and inside is a bit dated decor wise, but absolutely no complaints about the service or the food. The staff were excellent, just lovely, genuine folk. Good choice of options on the menu, and the food and drinks were served quickly. Portion sizes were generous and prices were very reasonable. Proper home cooked style food. Would have no hesitation on a return visit when in Rothesay again.

Fantastic meals. We went two nights and were so well received. The food was amazing. All home cooked and very well cooked. Compliments to the chef. Staff were very welcoming and great to chat to. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
