Clean comfortable place to stay close to the airport

The room I had was lovely. Very nice touches, beautiful bathroom, Nespresso machine. Shame the decorating was very dated and in need of attention. I ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was stunning. All the staff were lovely, friendly. Great location and didn't hear a plane at all even though the hotel is right on the doorstep of the airport. I would happily go back.

Brilliant for stopping over if your at the airport early in the morning as they offer a short shuttle ride to your terminal at no extra charge. Never had breakfast there because of early flights. Rooms are a good size and the bed we stayed in was mega comfy.

The club suites are great. Comfy, clean and relaxing. The only issue was the walls are a bit thin. Got woken up by a family talking normally and going to the loo at about 4 in the morning.

Location is fantastic. Just 3 minutes to the airport. Brilliant for business users and holiday makers alike.

My daughter got married here. The day was beautiful the staff were friendly and lovely. They made my daughters day perfect ?in every way. Sally and Dan are amazing hosts. Would highly recommend this venue. The staff all gave 100 % I can't thank everyone enough for a perfect wedding xx thank you to you all ?

Hotel is tired but comfortable. There are no lifts so anyone with mobility problems would be advised to contact the hotel and request a ground floor room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. We hadn't booked breakfast but this was available for an extra £10 each when checking in. Rooms like the rest of the hotel are comfortable but do require a little bit of tlc. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to the airport which is less than 10 minutes away.

Never felt like the staff wanted me to be there. One bar staff actually sighed and rested her head on the pump handle as she served me (I appreciate she had probably worked a long day but I was not being difficult or unreasonable). The Reception Manager seemed very put out that I asked for directions to my room (and I did have to ask - I assume I was expected to have studied the floor plan before arriving). The rooms were nice and clean, the food was very good. All the technical stuff was done very well but the personal touch was utterly missing.

We were attending a wedding hosted at the hotel, with several family members staying, so we all had a peek in each others rooms.
They were all lovely rooms, of all shapes and sizes. One or two rooms had the odd problem here and there, requiring only minor maintenance to make it perfect, but nothing you couldn't cope with. This is a large stately home type of hotel, with a rabbit warren of corridors and stairs. I thought I would get lost, but I didn't. I liked it. The staff looking after the wedding party were all amazing, and I told them so. Our breakfast was also very good. Whether toast, cereal or full english. It was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection, with attentive polite staff serving. Tea was good, and my coffee was lovely. This hotel, although a little tired here and there, have amazing staff and overall is very good.
