A very special place with heart and charm – simply a place to feel good.

After our first stay at Ewich House in 2019, it was clear to us: we would return. And this time, we were not disappointed – quite the opposite! Silvia, Daniel, and their Border Collie Elli once again welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home from the very first moment. It was the perfect end to our Scotland trip – and that we were even able to spontaneously book an extra night was truly a blessing.

Ewich House is a true gem: lovingly renovated, tastefully furnished, and in excellent condition. Everything has been designed with great care and a keen eye for detail – from the cozy living room to the charming guest rooms. Our room was not only spotlessly clean but also wonderfully equipped: an extremely comfortable bed, tea, coffee, and water, and plenty of space to relax.

Breakfast is an absolute highlight: Every morning, we were greeted with a diverse and high-quality selection – fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, Bircher muesli, a fine selection of cheeses (finally, not just cheddar!), and, of course, a delicious Scottish breakfast that can be customized. Everything is served with love – you can feel the passion that goes into every detail.

The hosts also had a wonderful tip for planning our last day – allowing us to discover a new, surprisingly beautiful side of Scotland that we probably would have missed without their advice.

After a long, rainy, and exhausting day of West Highland Way walking, we arrived at Ewich House completely drenched and drained — both physically and emotionally. I was genuinely struggling to stay motivated to continue the rest of the route after the most demanding part of it. But the owner welcomed us with such kindness, care, and thoughtful support — both practical and emotional — that it gave me the strength to carry on for the rest of the days of our planned trip. If I completed the whole WHW route and now feel proud of that achievement, I truly owe it to Sylvia and another guest of the house.

Beyond that, the house itself is absolutely wonderful. The room was super comfortable with style, and the bathroom was spotless. The shared common room was so warm, cozy, and inviting — it felt just like home, and honestly, it was hard to leave it!

Breakfast was a total highlight: rich, delicious, energizing, and filled with joy. They prepare packed lunch for walkers too, which was generous, tasty, and exactly what we needed to keep going strong.

Its location is great. Just out of WHW Route and further up after Crianlarich, but certainly in a spectacular area of Scotland's Highlands.

And I have to give special thanks for the brilliant boot dryer — such a clever and much-needed touch after a wet day on the trail. Thank you so much.

My third stay at Ewich House, says it all. A fabulous place. A lovely welcome from Silvia and Ellie the dog as soon as I stepped out of the car. Lovely room and superb breakfast cooked by Daniel. A perfect location when travelling down from the Highlands. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

My husband and I spent our anniversary at Ewich House. Our room was gorgeous, spotless & the best sleep we have had in a long time. Breakfast 10/10 both Daniel & Sylvia make you feel very welcome 🙏 their home and gardens are lush, highly recommend and we will definitely stay again.

Nice little familiar b&b with very friendly hosts. Homemade yoghurt was very good. Scottish breakfast was excellent. Rooms cosy and clean. We can highly recommend it. We stayed 1 night on our way to Isle of Skye, the environment was lovely.
