Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend, the hut was amazing, absolutely loved the hot tub too! Great area - very close to pubs & Melton Mowbray centre. The owner left a voicemail saying I could leave 2 hours later on check-out day if I wanted to - which was much appreciated! 100% will be using again and already have family members interested!

Fair Farm Hideaway is the perfect break. |The Shepherds Huts are well located on the edge of the fishing lake. |We stayed in Lincoln Longwool for three nights, it was quiet & relaxing, just what was needed.||The walk from the car park is short with carts available to help transport luggage. It feels a little bit like secret garden as you head through the site. The grounds are well kept and all huts are well presented.||We opted to have our hot tub pre heated for arrival, this was a nice touch, we added more wood to the fire later on, plenty is provided for the whole stay. |The Hut is more spacious than expected with good storage under the bed for baggage. ||The kitchen is very well equipped, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, oven, kettle, plenty of plates, cups and glasses. ||The bathroom was small and compact but had everything you need. Towels and toiletries provided were great quality. ||If you’re looking for things to do, we really enjoyed Belvoir Castle, the castle & grounds are a great trip out and the Engine Yard across the road had food, drinks, live music and a couple of shops.||We definitely recommend Fair Farm Hideaway and would love to visit again.

What can I say about this place..... amazing! This was an accidental find and the best ever! I booked three days before out weekend away for our 6th wedding anniversary! I was phoned due to a mess up with price, some how I had paid for two hot tub fire lights! I was phoned to see if this was what I wanted or some computer issues, which it was and offered an extra two hours on top of check out or a fire pit. Directions are spot on, it's the most amazing place, reminds me of lord of the rings. Peace and quiet the whole stay and for us, no children but dogs allowed! I can not stay anything wrong about this place, if you want to switch off from the world this is the place to go! The hot tub is amazing as well, I don't ever say this, but we will be returning soon!

Ideology speaks of a heaven; valhalla; a promised land; jannah. If you are sick of waiting for these superstitions, why not get a taster of the real thing at Fair Farm Hideaway. A truly beautiful getaway.
Secluded from noise, distractions, and the bloody human race, this is the perfect place to feel peaceful and relaxed.
Im no David Attenborough, but i swear i heard the ducks quack “im happy you are here”.
We spent nights in the hot tub, by the fire, and at the bbq, all while facing nothing but nature.
Gill was lovely and welcoming.
Couldnt recommend highly enough!

My wife and I stayed here with our dog for 2 nights and what can I say! This place is perfect for a quiet getaway. |We arrive early but were still allowed access to our shepards hut. Upon arrival there is a nice tarmac carpark away from the huts with carts available to help you move your stuff to the hut, a nice short walk with views across the fields was nice. We found our place to stay with ease and we could see the hottub was already pre lit for us. As this was our first time being able to celebrate our wedding anniversary in 7 years it was a nice surprise to see chocolates, a bottle of fizz and the hut decorated for us.|The Shepherd hut was immaculate! A lovely big comfy bed with blankets and cushions galore!! The en suite was surprisingly sizeable with plenty of room to move around and the kitchen was all we needed to cook every meal we had. There is a log burner inside but we didnt need to use it. There is also director style chairs and a small table inside if you cant eat outside. Outside there is a large decking area with a nice little table a chair set and a bench down at the bottom of the stairs. The hot tub is great and being heated by burning wood as a man it was great to play with a bit of fire. We had plenty of wood supplied to us so we never had to worry if there was enough or not.|While we were there we had a walk around the lakes in the morning and met the cows in the adjacent field but we mainly just relaxed reading and watching films. ||I cannot recommend fair farm hideaway enough if you are ummming and arrring about it, just go! You will not be disappointed. We cannot wait to come back to this hidden gem! A huge thank you to all the team who helped, Nothing was too much for them.

Can’t recommend enough! The our Shepherds Hut ( Kerry Hill) was gorgeous- spotlessly clean, and really tastefully furnished. Everything we needed was there - lots of towels, complimentary tea and coffee etc, even ice in the freezer. We were really close to the lakes so went fishing every day, and such a good price at £5 for the whole day. Fantastic hot tub which warmed up really quickly. Plenty of wood and kindling with the option of getting further supplies ( no charge) if needed. The whole site was so tranquil, the only noise being birds and geese!!! Also so clean. We met Gill ( the owner) on our final day and she was so lovely and friendly. I would highly recommend a visit to any one - absolutely beautiful!!!!

Beautiful site, very well maintained. Each shepherds hut was built to the highest condition and had the perfect facilities inside. The hot tub was beautiful once at the right temperature and had lovely outlook over the lake. Very relaxing! |Couldn’t have asked for much more from a getaway for two. ||Hot tub was difficult to get to the right temperature due to it being fire powered. Initially made it far too hot as we must have put too many logs in the wood burner. Would be good to have a guide on this. The hot tub probably only needed 4-6 logs to heat up from cold. ||If you’re looking for a quiet and small site for a getaway for two surrounded by some lovely villages and things to do then this is the place. |The only thing we regret is not booking for longer!
