Theresa was a really nice waitress and was right on top of keeping the restaurant spotless. My wife and I checked the salt and pepper pots, spotless. Menus and all tables were very clean. The food was very nice, hot, and arrived pretty quickly. This is bar far their companies best pub. Of note, it was run by older people and not teens. They have a jukebox and things going on all the time. We will absolutely return as it was one of the best pubs we've eaten in for a long time. Well done and highly recommended. Oh, lots of parking space and outside seating.

What a wonderful pub! As a social worker for the NHS working on Christmas Day I am super thankful for the free sandwich that I received! Even while at work I still go chance to have a banging sarny and felt very Christmassy. Thanks all at Fair Maid and a very Merry Christmas ❤️

Absolutely cannot fault Fair Maid. The staff are incredible, extremely accommodating even when it’s busy and you don’t have a table booked. Truly friendly service and always makes you feel welcomed. The team are always super friendly with our daughter who loves it here!

The food is exactly what you’d expect, really nice and can’t fault it. Plenty to choose from and always good quality.

We always look forward to coming here!

Staff very friendly, quick service. Food overall good. We had a few burgers in our food order which where nice. Peas served with Hunters chicken didn't taste if anything. Cheese cake very dry. Chocolate fudge cake very nice.x

Only thing to let the meal down was that the gravy was like water, staff are always friendly, clean and tidy place to eat with the family.
They do have a good selection of ciders called Lilly's I believe it was, should try them 🙂

The food was lovely but the service was shocking. The burgers were on buy one get one free so I asked if I could have one to take out as my husband works long hours and would have loved that as a treat for coming home. She point blank refused and looked at me as if I was scum! So I ended up paying for a burger for my daughter and a different meal for myself as I don't like burgers. I should have got another burger meal for free as that was the offer! I visit a few Green King chains and always get a meal to take out for my partner but It was a definite no at this pub! The woman behind the bar was miserable and snappy and my daughter who's 11th birthday it was was stood with me while I was waiting to order and she was told by the miserable woman to move away from the bar! What was I supposed to do leave her alone while I went to order! It really ruined our evening and my daughter was very upset as she wasn't doing anything, just literally stood by my side whilst in the queue to order. The food was really nice when it finally arrived but I can't say the service was good at all. I ordered our next drinks on my phone as I wasn't prepared to go to the bar leaving my daughter alone. Definitely need more staff training in this pub, if they don't like serving people and being polite maybe hospitality is the wrong job for them!

Had lunch today, the fish and chips were delicious really good quality fish 👌 also the carolina reaper wings was lovely and tasty. Service and atmosphere was brilliant. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊
