We have just had a lovely two night stay at the Fairhaven Guest House. ||We stayed in a superior room with lovely views. The room was very clean and spacious. The amenities in the room included tea,coffee,biscuits and complimentary toiletries.||There was an excellent breakfast choice every morning including a specials board that was changed daily.||The lounge was a nice relaxing space with reasonable priced drinks available.| |Pete and Sarah the hosts have a beautiful house and go the extra mile to make sure guests have a lovely stay.||We would recommend the guest house to anyone wanting to stay in Goathland and will be looking to book again.

My son and I stayed at Fairhaven late June and just at the reopening after a major refurbishment. The new looks is in keeping with the property and has been completely to such a high standard! |This hotel has everything for us, breakfast is amazing, hosts so welcoming, room is fantastic, fantastic location, great restaurants walking distance, steam train short walk and it is licensed so I can have a beer in the lounge of an evening! |This is our 9th/10th visit since starting to visit in 2023 and we will always return!|Thanks Pete and Sarah for hosting us again and giving us a great holiday.

Just returned home after four amazing nights at the Fairhaven. This place is astounding. The food, the ambience, location, everything. Pete and Sarah are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. We have been staying here for over 10 years and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Stayed during Easter Weekend 2024 (apologies for the late review!) for nearby work training and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. From the excellent warm and cosy atmosphere to the excellent breakfasts and rooms. It's a fantastic place to stay if in the area. The approachable owner is incredibly helpful and provides an excellent service. Have recommended to friends who will be visiting the area in the future.

Stayed here years ago whilst visiting from Australia. Lovely atmosphere, nice hosts. They did a lovely English breakfast for us. Nice and close to the village also.

Return visit, as are most guests. A badly needed break for two days and Pete and Sarah made sure it was just what we needed.||We had Room 9, which we haven't stayed in before. Very spacious room and the bed was enormous and so comfortable. Breakfast was again at the top and delicious. This Guest House is the perfect place to relax when we really needed to get away from exhausting work. Thank you again Pete and Sarah for the pick-me-up.

The Guest House is ideally located within easy reach of a number of walks. The accommodation was very comfortable. The room was large with ensuite. Bed very comfortable, tea and coffee making etc in room. Had fantastic views from the room excellent breakfast and could not ask for better hosts in Peter and Sarah. They provided info about the area and the various walks. Would definitely recommend.|We had evening meals at the The Inn on the Moor which was a 10 minute walk and was also very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairhaven. We stayed in a superior room which was lovely and spacious, with beautiful views across the moor. |The breakfasts were delicious and it was a bonus to have the specials board that changed daily. The quality of the breakfast items were excellent, using local produce and homemade items. Delicious homemade jams and granola!|The owners are friendly and helpful with a great knowledge of the area.|The photos attached are the beautiful view from our room at the front of the guest house.
