What a wonderful find! Jason and Melanie are superb hosts. We are both disabled but they managed to put us in fantastic rooms on the ground floor which were large, en-suite and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and varied. ||The attention to detail in everything here is very notable. These are a couple who really enjoy what they do - from the breakfast fruit salad to the honesty bar,I genuinely couldn't fault anything. ||This is a place I would recommend and would love to return to.||(Note: booking direct with them over the phone saved us a substantial amount as compared to online site. )||Thanks for a wonderful time.

We had the best stay at The Fairmile with our 2 children. Jason and Melanie were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. They even gave my husband a card and gift for his birthday. The B & B is spotless and was perfect for our little family. We stayed in a family room, which had everything we needed. The breakfast was very tasty and a wonderful selection. Jason and Melanie were very accommodating with our baby’s allergies and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, including oat milk and special vegan sausages. All the little extras were perfect for us and made our break away extra special, including the honesty bar and children’s toys. Our little girl enjoyed it that much, she wanted to stay for a week! Thank you for everything you did for us and we can’t wait to stay again!

Mark & Sue R||Just back from 2 nights at this great B&B. Everything was wonderful from the excellent hosts, to coffee on arrival. The breakfast was excellent, good choice of cereals, fruits, yogurts, nuts etc. The cooked breakfast was lovely, hot and good quality ingredients, cooked beautifully by Melanie. |The location is great, a few mins to town and seafront.|Whilst we were there there were lots of returning guests, I can see why, we will return.

We have never been to a B&B like it, Jason’s sense of humour lit up our faces from the moment he opened the front door & continued right through our three night stay. We’d booked the Superior Room which was lovely, very roomy with an en-suite & comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities & a bottle of water & extension/USB by the bed which is always a welcome addition. There wasn’t a single fault about the Fairmile, Melanie’s breakfasts cooked to perfection & ordered the day before which is an excellent idea & the choices for breakfast were absolutely amazing, Jason & Melanie had thought of absolutely everything, even an honesty bar with alcoholic |& soft drinks, snacks, chocolate etc which my friend was pleased to take advantage of in the evening. (Maybe I missed it but some “zero alcohol” cans/bottles could be added as it’s becoming more popular 🤭.)|We will definitely be back & we will definitely recommend The Fairmile to anybody looking for a very laid back B&B with a couple, Jason & Melanie to match. Once again we had an amazing stay at the Fairmile, stayed for a week in their superior bedroom which is large and comfortable. The highlight of the week was Melanie's breakfast, beautifully cooked full English certainly sets you up for the day. Jason always welcomes guests with a cup of tea or coffee on arrival and his knowledge on many subjects especially football is second to non. Already booked for a short visit in October, if youlooking for lovely hosts, good value, attention to detail and the best breakfast in town then look no further. Alan and Lindsey
