Liked: Rocky has to be one of the most amazing hosts we have ever come across! Nothing is too much trouble, and he likes to personally greet his guests on arrival, as well as say goodbye before you leave. We found the location for getting into York really great, as we simply drove to the local Park and Ride about 15 mins away (Grimston Bar). There are ample facilities on site, washing up, laundry, toilet and shower block. Plenty of space to play for the kids and a fairly good park.

It has a very relaxed atmosphere, and although you are welcome to come and go as you please, everyone is very respectful of the noise levels.

Although you may read some poor feedback and reviews, I think these are unfair considering how reasonably priced it is to stay here. Also, there has been quite a bit more work done since some of the photos that have been shared by other guests. For £30 per night (what we paid on a Bank Holiday weekend) you simply cannot complain!

Disliked: There is an odd smell around the toilet block / showers. I actually think it may be the water itself as the amenities are very clean every day. Other than that, nothing to dislike.

I stayed at fangfoss for 9 weeks.|When i first arrived it said report to reception which wasn't clearly sign posted, might be better with a mobile number to call on arrival. |I were greated by a lovely bubbly guy called Rocky and his side kick, fergy (dog) showed me where to pitch up and left me to it, he called back later to check i were OK, throughout my stay if I needed anything Rocky were there.|Toilets/showers were always clean and tidy, grass cut, washing machines and dryer on site. Play area is undergoing some redevelopment but at the moment it is still brilliant and kept my daughter entertained. It is a Dog friendly site.|Shops are only a short drive away, 2 local pubs, both dog friendly and the oddfellow in willberfoss does lovely food.||The new owners of the site Lorraine and Sean are lovely, very helpful and approachable, nothing that needs doing they do it. All in all a lovely site

Liked: On arrival the signal isn’t great on where to book in but Rocky meet us and was extremely welcoming, explained where we could pitch up and where all the amenities are. The site itself was clean and could see rocky took pride in the site. Facilities could do with an upgrade but clean and more than adequate

Disliked: Could do with some investment in the pitches, toilet block and kids play area

Liked: Showers and toilets were clean and well stocked. Laundry room with washing facilities very useful. Plenty of room for campervan with awning with electric hookup and water included.

Disliked: Wasn’t sure who to check in with upon arrival. Asked another guest and the guy in charge came to the van and showed us the facilities and gave us the freedom to park where we wanted.

Liked: We enjoyed staying at this site which we found very easily. The site is lovely and flat and sited on a pitch with a lovely view across fields. The toilet block and bins were nearby and everything was clean. We took our bikes and enjoyed long bike rides and were happy they were safe and secure at the end of the day parked next to our van. The guy who greeted us was very helpful and friendly.

Liked: Lovely site, greeted by the infamous "Rocky" who was so friendly and helpful. A laid back approach, with no set times to leave like every other site I have stayed at!
The above is possible by everybody keeping their pitch and surroundings clean and tidy, ready for the next visitors!
The facilities are great, and well kept!
We'll deffo be back!

Really happy with our stay and holiday overall. Rocky was fantastic and very helpful. He really goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and his customer service is brilliant. I will definitely be returning with my family. The location is spot on and is close to local shops and attractions. Thank you again for our wonderful stay ❤️

Liked: Lovely little site - new owner is currently upgrading and site has lots of potential. Showers and toilets were basic but clean
All amenities for MH available so no complaints! Fab dog walk at the bottom of the site! Would love to see it when it’s finished
