We came to stay one night only for a family function. Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful location. Peaceful, immaculate, hosts could not be nicer.|We would 100% recommend it to anyone. |We stayed here a few years ago and it was just as good as our first visit.|Well stocked with kitchen utensils/equipment.|Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a little sweet treat 😋

Stayed for just one night to visit a family function. Hosts were marvelous, peaceful location, 2 good size bedrooms one with a shower room. One with a bathroom. Beautiful, immaculate. Would 100% recommend it.

Lovely large twin room with massive ensuite bathroom in the main house. The welcome from Sylvia was outstanding, cup of tea on arrival with home made flapjack which was delicious. When we returned back in the evening the beds had been turned down, lamp on and the curtains drawn. It's the small touches that make staying there an absolute pleasure. The views were just lovely over the farm and countryside. All topped off with a beautiful breakfast, the home made sausage was the best we have tasted. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Sylvia 😀

We arrived for a 3 day stay in between a wedding and reception. Sylvia ran us down to the 'Turkey' (great pub) in the car, so we could walk back (a very steep hill from Goose Eye) after the wedding reception. We were well looked after with an excellent Yorkshire cooked breakfast. The cottage was spacious and very clean. Excellent views. Excellent value. Sylvia continued going the extra mile by going to the P.O. to return my phone charger!

Wonderful, spacious cottage (both bedrooms ensuite), delicious breakfasts and dinners in the main house, and - most importantly - Sylvia is a very friendly and generous host. I was travelling with a good friend and my parents, and we were looking for a place to revisit various places in and around the Dales. We all really enjoyed Far Laithe - the views, the quiet, the farm animals - and it was exactly what we were looking for. We were sad to leave, but look forward to returning again!

My wife and i got hitched in keighley last october and used laycock village hall as our wedding reception (about half mile away) i used the cottage for my groom party and stayed the night there with my new wife. The cottage is lovely and so too are the owners who provided a very tasty breakfast and were very accommodating since we were getting married. I will definitely be staying there again seeing as it is based in lovely country side and makes an easy choice for a future anniversary trip 😉.

The friendlyness and hospitallity of this place cannot be beaten. We have been 6 times in as many years and we will be back again. The food for the evening meal is some of the best I have had. Sylvia is like an old friend in the true Yorkshire way. Keep up the good work.
