I stayed here last night with my boyfriend as it was his birthday. The four poster bed room was stunning, the house has been painstakingly restored to its original 16th Century look and feel. There was a huge inglenook fireplace in the bedroom, lovely four poster bed with extremely comfortable mattress and gorgeous bedding. We had a private sitting room as well with a comfortable settee and new TV. In there is a lovely wood burning stove although not currently working it will be soon. The bathroom had a original Victorian bath with brass taps.||||A definite must for the young at heart romantic.... definitely going there again 🙂

We visit this area frequently to see family and found this B & B on the web one day. The rooms are huge and would be lovely in the summertime. Because it is a listed historic building, it is very cold and not insulated. The owners are very friendly and offered us a space heater. They also provided plates and corkscrews whenever we needed them :)||The b & b is located right off the roundabout so you cannot really get anywhere on foot. Also, the upstairs bath was difficult for our relative to get in and out of (slipper bath) The four poster's en suite bathroom is right next to the kitchen and you do feel a bit inhibited as you can hear and see through the chinks in the wall.||Worth a visit and Jacqui makes a great breakfast!|

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse in november, and loved the atmosphere of the old Farmhouse with a wealth of beams. The rooms were a great size and we loved the roll top baths. The breakfast was delicous and i was informed that all the ingredients were all local produce. We all very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come back some time in the future.

I stayed here with my partner for are anniversary i wouldnt stay again to be honest for what we paid id rather have gone to a holiday for the night the rooms were nice but bit airy.||the breakfast was nice if you enjoy the owner watching you eat and the cats walking round the kitchen im a animal lover but not were food is produced. you could also here a lot of passing traffic. and were made to feel in the morning to go rather sharpish.|
