Liked: Loved the garden at the Friday family fun evening, the kids loved the bouncy castle and trampoline.

The views in the off grid camping were absolutely stunning, we also got some great celestial photos as there was minimal light pollution.

The pitches are huge! We had so much space it was great. The kids could safely run around the off grid field and play football.

The lady in the shop was so friendly, it was nice to pop in and grab a coffee first thing.

Disliked: £20 to hire a fire pit was steep, these are usually free in other campsites we’ve been to.

The doors to the toilets were broken, some didn’t lock and some were completely shut off. Would have liked some closer toilets to the off grid camping.

When I went to the family night, I ordered our bbq choices at the shop. When I went to collect from the bbq I asked the server for please no onions for my sons burger, the guy doing the bbq had just put them on and slammed his spatula down quite aggressively at hearing my request. I was really uncomfortable so I just said don’t worry about it I’ll pick them out. Didn’t like that at all.

Liked: The owners were very friendly, the facilities were great. My daughter loved the trampoline and hay stacks to play on. The Friday entertainment live music and bouncy castle was fab, I was able to enjoy a relaxed cider while my daughter played. The whole vibe is relaxed and the set up is so simple but so effective for kids. The shower/toilet block was always clean. We had a great stay! I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone with a young family.

Liked: Absolutely loved the space (generous pitches and loads of lovely land and play areas). Showers and toilets decent and clean. Woodland walk was fab. Relaxed atmosphere. Onsite cafe served delicious food. Dog friendly. Lovely family feel. Location was great for the beach. Value for money. Great that you can hire fire pits.

Disliked: For us the rule about silence after ten was a bit difficult to enforce because our older children were a bit excited and usually stay up later than that but understand how that's good for families with young children.

Liked: The views are spectacular! Lovely clean, hot showers and toilets. Whole site is well maintained with lots to do. The food in the bar/cafe is delicious and the young waitress Libby, did a fantastic job! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Disliked: Poor wifi but ended up being a blessing.

Liked: Quiet location; shower & toilet cubicles clean and warm; plenty of play equipment for younger children; great views; well-maintained paths through the animal paddocks.

Disliked: Some play facilities (eg play barn) seemed a little tired / could do with refreshing; Friday family night was very popular with non-resident visitors, though in fairness everything quietened down nicely before 10pm; grey water / Elsan point a bit rustic.

Liked: Lovely site. Good amount of space. We were in a group with 2 other families and our pitches were next to each other which was perfect. We really liked the self check in. The toilets and showers were great. The play barn was fab in the rain. The cafe was nice, had a really simple menu but worked well for us.

Liked: This park is absolutely beautiful. It was easy to find our pitch and find our way around the site. The pitches were level and well kept. The toilets and showers were really nice and always clean. There was lots for the kids to keep them occupied. The farm was awesome and our kids really loved visiting the farm animals. Live music was fantastic and they had a bouncy castle for the kids Friday/saturday. I highly recommend staying here. We will be returning !!

Liked: The toilet/shower block was really well maintained and clean, plus there were plenty of hot showers so there was never a queue. Lovely walks with lots of wildlife to see and the pitches were level.

Disliked: Has been really nice on previous sites for the owner to be there on arrival or to show presence during the stay, felt a little impersonal this time. Would be nice to have the cafe open a little longer. We did also have a problem with being plagued by wasps.
