The owner was so pleasant and friendly. I only spent a night there, but will definitely spend more in future.

The room was modern, clean and cozy! It was so cute and had everything I needed. It honestly felt like a home away from home. The bed was so comfortable too and I had a lovely view to boot!

Breakfast was delicious, fresh and so filling! Absolutely loved it!

Unfortunately, my experience in the Feather Bed Cottage was not good. The heating system in my room was not working well, and it was very cold.
The manager was difficult to reach. There was no one at reception at 5pm, and no one answered the phone number listed on Google. In the end I had to locate the owner via Booking (through which I had made the reservation) and he sent his mother, a very nice lady who brought a radiator. The radiator was not powerful enough to heat the whole room, but I managed to get by.
But the result is that it was an uncomfortable stay, plus the time they made me waste with all the management of the heating problem.
It’s a shame because they seem like nice people, but it is not acceptable that in winter they offer rooms with poor heating, and it is also not acceptable that it is so difficult to reach them to solve the problem.
Given the experience, I cannot recommend this accommodation.

I stayed for 4 nights this week as part of a training course at Warwick Uni. The location is perfect for this and it as a 5 min walk onto campus.||When I arrived I was greeted warmly and was able to check in early which was so helpful as I had a day of lectures ahead. Ronnie the dog was pleased to see me and I was asked when was best to deliver my breakfast to my door each morning.||The room was lovely. Cosy, well laid out and absolutely pristine with lots of drinks and a coffee machine. The WiFi was quick and the tv had Netflix if you didn’t bring anything to watch with you. The room was cleaned and made up every day of my stay. ||Breakfast each morning was lovely- a little bacon roll, a warm and flakey croissant, porridge, fresh orange, cheese and jam. Too much for me but it was great to have such a variety delivered to my door each morning with a plate 🙂 ||The hosts are really lovely and make you feel so welcome- a home away from home which was much needed for me as I’m not too fond of staying away on my own.||I am already looking to book for my next Warwick uni residential week in feb next year!

A beautiful place to stay at for a few days. It's located near Warwick University, the rooms are modern and have very good equipment - a comfy bed, amazing shower, coffee machine, etc. The breakfast was really nice too! 🙂 Definitely recommend!

Great location on edge of Warwick campus, next to old church and backing onto farmland. Easy parking, and keys left at private entrance with note for each guest/booking. Small but nicely furnished room with decent en-suite shower. Bagged continental breakfast, generous and tasty and left outside door at exactly time I asked for. Good selection of coffee and tea.
Not the best soundproofing between rooms but adequate for my needs.
Would book here again.

Like Michelle, I just couldn’t wait for breakfast to post my amazingly positive review. As a solo traveller doing who is doing research at the nearby Warwick Uni, this room was perfect for me, but it could also be great for a couple. I can definitely see myself taking my partner here if we ever end up in Coventry together for some reason.

Here are some reasons why I adore this place:
Excellent location close to Warwick Uni (~15 min walk) and bus stop for Coventry City Centre/Station (~7 min walk)
Extremely comfortable bed
Amazing decor
A Nespresso machine!!
Easy to operate shower
Extremely personable and wonderful customer service. Seriously David and Lynsey are amazing and checked in on me via phone as they weren’t in when I checked in and left the key inside.

If I had to nitpick, maybe I don’t care for how small the sink is or the lack of lock on the bathroom door (a personal thing). Light sleepers also beware that the walls are kind of thin here.

However, given that a room at the Premier Inn in the city centre would’ve cost £120 and I wouldn’t have gotten free breakfast, this is an exceptional place to stay for a night in Coventry. Will update about continental breakfast 🙂

We've stayed here 3 times. Twice in the annex which is great for families or just two. The cosy double was nice but small as in the title. Host is great. Location good for the University, Coventry and Leamington spa. Good breakfast bag to set you up for the day. Highly recommend.

A clean establishment close to Warwick University and Arts Centre. You could chose the time for your continental breakfast to be delivered to your room between 06.30-09.30. and the breakfast was very good. They were also very flexible over the check-in time. The only drawback was the size of the bed for someone tall.
