Came for the weekend with my husband and two young children. Park itself is quite small but very well maintained. Swimming area and soft play was great for the kids. Our caravan was situated behind the touring caravan area and wd unfortunately had issues with "travellers" on our first night. Drihking, parting and loud music until 2.30am. Called and texted the emergency number to ask if they can advise them to keep the noise down as they had woken my son during the night, no reply. I had to go out myself and ask them to keep the noise down. My husband was participating in the Windermere marathon the next day which was the reason for our trip. He never got to sleep until 3am. We have been to A LOT of caravan sites and have never experienced this. We chose this park as it was meant to be quieter than the usual ones we go to when intact it was the complete opposite. Very disappointed that the site couldn't have dealt with anti social behaviour. Wanted to speak to someone upon checkout but there was no staff around, only a box to hand keys in. Don't think we would return to this park.

Liked: Great site, set in the middle of woodlands.
The children loved the pool and the walks.
Dogs had fun walking around and meeting other humans and dogs.
The restaurant and bar were packed daily, the food was very nice too.
Staff were polite and friendly.
Toilet/shower block was kept clean and tidy.
WiFi wasn't great in the touring section but the phone reception was good enough for me to watch Wrestlemania on Netflix so I couldn't complain.

Liked: This was our first visit to Fell End over the Easter break. Lovely staff and welcome. Came out with us to choose our pitch. Facilities were very clean, including the pool and changing area. Purchased the family pass prior to going and we could just come and go as we pleased. Really relaxed and no booking/queuing which was great. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment. Great location for exploring and we had fab weather which was a bonus. Had to pay separately for electric but not a problem as the pitch booking was great value.

Disliked: Nothing, great find and will be back.

Liked: Restaurant was excellent. Toilet clean. Well maintained site otherwise

Disliked: Site is mainly gravel. Would be nice e to have a grass area per site. Our pitch was right on the car park which was handy for the toilets and centre but were basically pitched n the road so not the best for a 3 and 6 year old

Liked: The idea of camping in the pod. Heated with electricity. A lot of rabbits in the morning running everywhere.
Ease of access from the M6.

Disliked: The whole park is covered in gravel. There is literally no grass anywhere. The only grassy area was around tiny play area and had no permission to play any type of ball games. Our 2 yo children had basically nothing to do as swimming pool too deep, soft play designed for older kids, no sandpit and of course no balls allowed.

We have just purchased a brand new ABI caravan on this stunning caravan site after a two year search in the area. We first met Zoe over a year ago and from that first visit to actually handover this week she has been amazing she was never pushy and was a well of knowledge and so helpful. We looked around several other sites in the area but we always came back to Fell End as it has so much more to offer is is by far the friendliest it’s an amazing site so thanks for having us and here’s hoping for many happy years ahead.

Disliked: Inadequate information on arrival, the pitch was almost in the car park, the electric was more expensive than what was advertised on electricity box and on email. Toilet facilities and showers only cleaned once on a Thursday and sanitary bins were full and smelled. Would have liked a drink and a meal on site but nothing being served mon-Thursday. We were very disappointed we will not be returning.

Nice park. Touring pitch was a bit small. Staff weren't expecting us and main receptionist was off. Despite this we soon settled in. It would have been nice to be made aware before we arrived that the bar and restaurant were closed in the evenings Monday to Thursday.
