What a brilliant find just off the A10 outside Ely - excellent cafe and dogs are welcome. Whilst limited options the food was of really high standard - much better than offering lots of average choice, in my opinion. ||We both had the avocado on toast - the best we have ever tasted as it had loads of avocado then a delicious sweetcorn and pepper salsa plus amazing chimichurri pesto which they should sell in the adjacent farm shop! We would have given it full marks but the coffee was not as smooth as we like but perfectly drinkable. ||Friendly staff as well.

So impressed. What a lovely place to visit . Enjoyed breakfast. All very tasty with plenty of choice and the service was great. Bought a few items in the shop. Great choice. Will visit again Dog friendly for those who want to take their dogs in and outside seating too

Went in for coffee and brunch, it’s new so expect a few teething problems, nice staff but not high end food , the price point is probably correct for this sort of establishment but the quality of the food is way below. |Outside it’s scruffy but I expect that will improve when they find their feet

Had a weekend break in one of the Lotus Belle Tents, the double bed was very comfortable, size inside of tent was very good, Fire-pit kept us warm in the great British weather. The breakfast & wood pack was available for us on arrival, very tasty & would highly recommend the bread 🙂 First time of camping in a tent and we felt we did it in style. Clare & Errol were on hand for any of our needs, friendly & welcoming. If you are lucky enough to see one of the sunsets as we were they are stunning. Would definitely go back and possibly try one of the stunning Shepard’s huts or Safari Lodges for some luxury. Total escapism in our busy life would highly recommend.

My friends and I had such an amazing stay at Fenland Retreats. Clara was very welcoming when we arrived and was more than happy to help with anything we needed but the huts are set up so well that we were quite self-sufficient all weekend! The wood burning hot tub was amazing, right next to the fire after our barbecue looking out over the gorgeous sunset just at the end of the next field. The setting is beautiful, the shepherds huts and everything in them is super high quality (the shower was even powerful and warm) and we just had such a lovely time. The local produce at breakfast the next morning was delicious...thank you to you and your team Clara, we can’t wait to come back again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying for a few nights in the jungle safari tent. The farm is nothing short of perfection, Clara and the team where amazing, Clara runs the farm and her professionalism and work ethic is absolutely fantastic. Clean, modern, comfortable, there’s nothing bad to say. All the small touches like fresh bacon, eggs etc are such a lovely personal touch. Would highly recommended, we can’t wait to stay again soon. Thank you for a great staycation x

A HUGE thank you to Clara and her team at Fenlands Retreat for looking after our group for a long weekend recently. We really did have the best time and would definitely rate your place a 5* glamping site and WE WILL BE BACK!! A group of us wanted to go away somewhere new, with a few sites to see and also relax and this place was perfect! We hired a safari tent, shepherds hut and 2 bell tents and were so impressed with how well equipped they are. The safari tent was fantastic with two bedrooms, beautiful hot shower, living room area, decking AND hot tub - what more could you want. Everything was so clean and the beds are soo comfy! Clara has thought of everything and the attention to detail is spot on! It’s also very close to Ely and Cambridge for lovely day trips. I highly recommend this place - book it now before it sells out!! 💛

We LOVED the lodge, the hot tub truly tipped the experience over the edge! It was clean, maintained very well, camping with glamour. BBQ pit was a huge plus. Was abit worried about being cold but must do is a dip in the hot tub before going to bed, and you'll stay toasty warm for the night! Say hi to the super cute farm dogs, we'll definitely be back!
