Perfect little B&B for a short break. Clean. comfortable en-suite bedroom and a fabulous breakfast cooked to order. Caroline was very welcoming and friendly. On site parking. Lovely village and lots of interest nearby. Thoroughly recommended

This was a last minute booking for us as we decided to go on a weekend trip. We arrived quite late but the host was very accommodating, she showed us to our room and where everything was. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious with everything we needed, including a kettle and microwave. We had a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. She was super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.

This is the second time I have stayed at this gem. It never disappoints.|| Caroline is so lovely and really thoughtful. My room was spotless the bed was SO comfortable I slept really well. ||Breakfast is Queen! I had continental but I suspect if I had indulged in a cooked it would have been amazing.||I love Fern Cottage, and Caroline does the smallest touches such an electric blanket on my bed because of course in June it was cold and raining! But I really appreciated it. Also, Caroline gifted me some homemade strawberry jam as she noticed I always requested it. I was honestly really touched by her thoughtfulness.||I really hope to be staying here again and soon!||Wonderful

Lovely little cottage to stay near Dorchester. The rooms are clean and cozy with lots of storage space. Comes with a Smart TV and Netflix. Also the bed had heated bed sheets which is so good in this cold weather. Toilets are ok and there is a shower but no bath tub. Parking spaces are available inside. Breakfast was really good as well. Value for money!

I stayed in Fern Cottage for one night while filming in Dorchester. It is a small hotel in a private residence. Easy to find, with good parking on site. My room was very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was simply excellent - ample, and freshly cooked.

Everything about our stay was wonderful, from being greeted at the car with an umbrella due to the rain to the warm send-off the following morning. The room was clean, warm, quiet, and comfortable, with many nice touches such as extra blankets, bottles of water, and biscuits. We slept fantastically and in the morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful.||||We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Very friendly host greet us on arrival, comfortable room , breakfast was great ,a hugh selection of teas coffees and cereals as well as fresh fruit, toast and cooked breakfast also.something for everyone. The host is very helpful .re where to eat and how to get to market etc. , we had the best night sleep.
