My husband and I recently stayed for one night at this gorgeous cottage and just wish we’d known about it before! It is first class in every way..with lovely welcoming owners, a delightful location with the most amazing views! Our room was spotless and provided everything you need and more including coffee and tea facilities, fresh milk, biscuits, chocolates, wine glasses, dressing gowns, ironing board and iron, complimentary toiletries and the comfiest king size bed. The best full English breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the beautiful grounds and served with homemade bread and marmalade. We will definitely be returning.

Where do I start, firstly I was running late for my check in and after calling to notify the hosts, Linda was more concerned ensuring I have eaten as there wasn’t much in the area. ||On arrival, Linda met me with a flask of fresh milk for my teas and coffee and settled me in.||In the morning I was met by the most wonderful full English breakfast I have ever eaten. I was informed that the eggs were freshly laid this morning, bread was also made that morning and that Linda had personally made the marmalade. ||Both Ian and Linda are extremely attentive and their attention to detail was noticed throughout my 2 night stay to chocolates next to my bedside to remembering my name every time they saw me. ||They are incredible hosts and I would recommend anyone to visit for a luxury weekend away! ||I’ll definitely be returning!!

We spent a beautiful peaceful night at this B&B on the way home from Cornwall.... the location was perfect and the view spectacular. The room was so comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! I then left my Kindle behind when we left, and the owners very kindly posted it to my home, which was incredibly kind. Highly recommend this place, it was perfect from start to finish.

Just faultless - wonderful hosts in a stunning property & location - dreamy bedroom with balcony over the immaculately kept garden and lake - breakfast was exceptional with local bacon / sausage- homegrown tomatoes & eggs! And Linda’s wonderful homemade marmalade - only stayed one night as at a family wedding - but wouldn’t hesitate to return for longer just to sit and chill - thank you both

We booked in for our wedding anniversary. Linda and Ian were welcoming and keen to make our stay comfortable with good facilities and a breakfast menu of variety, cooked by Ian to a high standard. Home grown eggs and bread make by our hosts added that extra special touch. In fact, the whole breakfast experience was there to enjoy.|Our room with the balcony gave beautiful views over the Devon countryside and the quiet was deafening. So peaceful and a world away from the usual city sounds.|The ensuite facilities were another plus with clean fittings and space to move around. Nothing was too much trouble from the welcoming smile to general conversation, all was a great experience. Leaving was the hardest part as we could have stayed longer. Alas, All things must come to end. Hopefully, it will be nice to stay again in the future.|

Wow what can we say. Fantastic, Amazing, Wonderful.
Ian & Linda are so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Room wonderful, great shower, comfy bed and amazing views and what to say about the breakfast it was awesome !
Thank you for a wonderful stay, wish we could have stayed longer, but as Arnie would say we will be back

From the second we arrived to the second we left, we had a thoroughly wonderful time. The standard of cleanliness, quality of service and beautiful surroundings all made this one night get-away a trip to remember. ||Fantastic accommodation. 100% recommend to all. Would definitely stay again.||First class choice of breakfast - extremely well cooked. Very comfortable night. Beautiful bed linen. ||Host and Hostess were so charming and welcoming. We felt really relaxed and spoilt. ||So many extra touches from fresh cold milk to make drinks in the room (rather than long life plastic capsules) to good quality biscuits and bottled water. ||No wonder this accommodation scores so high. You could not fault it. 🙌👏🏼👍😀

Me and my partner stayed here last night for a surprise night away. It was absolutely stunning, the grounds were perfect & incredibly beautiful. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed in a lovely room with en-suite bathroom, the bath was out of this world- defiantly my style! Complimentary tea/ water/ coffee/m and chocolate. A gorgeous balcony with views that were breath taken, in which you could see 2 gorgeous horses! Breakfast was outstanding; with homemade bread & homemade Jams. The bed was ridiculously comfortable- i didn’t want to get out of it! Would most defiantly go back again, was perfect! Thank you. X
