Such a gorgeous vintage tearoom. Felt transported to 1950s! Loved the decor and outfits the staff wore. The service was excellent - very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was homemade, and they had plenty of gluten free options. I was impressed that they told me they’d prepare my food separately, and had good knowledge of cross contamination. I’d recommend here for people with allergens, such as coeliac disease. The tuna toastie was delicious - everything was fresh, and they took attention to detail by keeping the cucumber separate so the bread didn’t go soggy. Really appreciated the little touches provided. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area.

Wonderful tea room in the heart of Bishop Auckland, next to the Spanish Gallery. Fantastic atmosphere and caring and attentive staff. Food was delicious. Afternoon tea was an absolute delight with a wide selection of sandwiches, scones, teas, coffees and cakes. I cannot fault the staff who could not have been more attentive and caring when one of our party became ill from a long standing condition which required an ambulance to be called. Thank you from all of us. ❤️❤️

Good food / very poor service. We have visited twice this year….the first time we were shown to a dirty table and when we asked if it could be cleaned the waitress replied, “I’ll get round to it when I’m not busy”. The waitress was abrupt and surely throughout.
The second visit this week again was let down by staff who seemed to simply not notice we were there. We had to ask twice to order food and when our pudding came it wasn’t the jam and coconut sponge we ordered but a ginger sponge instead. The waitress didn’t even bring any cutlery to eat it with. On both occasions the food was good but quite honestly we thought the staff seemed to be a world of their own!

Unusual 2nd world war era feel to this place, with faux ration book style menus and decor.

Breakfast was both tasty and good value... I went for the double full English and didn't have enough space to finish the toast... So portions do not disappoint.

Warm welcome and friendly staff look after you.

Will definitely return.

Lovely place. Went in after a nice walk round the park and found it to be an absolute gem. We had the dogs with us and the welcome for both us and the dogs was wonderful. Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff. Thank you. We will be back again.

Lovely and picturesque place where you can enjoy a good time. We came back from our Valentines walk , with my husband, and stopped at Fifteas for the afternoon tea. I particularly enjoyed the cinnamon chocolate and scone with jam and cream. The perfect way to end our valentine’s afternoon. ?
Excellent customer service
