First time visit recommended by a friend. Food was great but lacking atmosphere. Also took my dog and there was no bin for me to dispose of the dog bag. When I asked a member of staff if they had a bin I was told no, only the one inside. So then I had to ask another staff member who said the same but then told me to leave the bag outside and she would dispose of it. There was also a large amount of dog poo on the grass. If you allow dogs on site, then I would suggest putting a bin outside for customers to use for their dogs.

The breakfast was delicious, hot, high quality and served promptly. The lady was chatty and enthused when asked questions about her farm produce and home made cakes. Took away bread pudding and an egg custard tart, which were huge, tasted phenomenal and reasonably priced. Bathroom was spotless. I have just one suggestion to make the place more convivial - put a radio on or some gentle music tinkling away in the background to break the stony silence in the restaurant room.

Well established Cafe and Farm Food Shop carrying a limited but top quality range of food products sourced where possible from the local area.
Excellent hot and cold drinks as well as freshly made snacks on offer in the cafe.
Dogs not allowed inside as there is an open kitchen. However there is ample outside seating - just with out for rainy weather!

We popped into the farm shop as we wanted to have a little look around. We’ve developed a bit of a love for local farm shops. This was our first time to the Fir Tree farm shop. There’s plenty of parking available, a small shop available and larger cafe offering food and afternoon teas.

In the shop there’s a hot snack counter, cakes, bread, chutneys, fresh produce and more. We picked up a loaf of bread and a couple of cakes to go. I had a lemon muffin which was pretty sizeable!

I can see this being a great little stop off if you’re visiting Trench Woods, just up the road, for a walk.

Amazing cafe and little farm shop. Top cakes choices which look lovely and cheese from the Snowdonia cheese company. Offers are on for afternoon tea, cake and hot drink or a takeaway cake deal. I would highly recommend the breakfast as it was to die for. One of the best ever. Proper local sausages and bacon. Probably the 2nd best sausage I have had at any farm shop. Lovely flavour and proper pork. Also all 3 ladies of staff were lovely and had a good chat with us. Will be back soon!

Hands down one of the best afternoon teas we have ever had, the staff were so friendly and made the experience so special. Really relaxed venue making the whole afternoon just really nice. I can't wait to come back
