A wonderful welcome, gracious and attentive hosts, a terrific full English, spotless rooms and bathroom with a giant bath in which to immerse yourself made this an exceedingly pleasant overnight stay. |Chapeau bas to the wonderful hosts.

In the area for a family funeral, we chose Folly Farm initially because it is dog-friendly. Host Jude proved to be much more than that and we really felt that nothing was too much trouble. The farmhouse is gorgeous and our room likewise, with not only a spacious bedroom but a huge en-suite bathroom with a stand-alone bath. It was warm, fresh and clean and made the perfect base for our two-night stay. Breakfasts were fabulous! Jude is great fun to chat to too and so helpful. Our dog isn’t great with other dogs, of which Jude has two of her own, but she never made us feel this would be a problem (& it wasn’t). Despite being located next to a road that gets pretty busy at peak commuter times, it is so quiet inside. I was amazed at the traffic volume when taking the dog out at about 7.30 as inside, it was an oasis of calm. A super place to stay. Thank you Jude for all your help and making us (all!) so welcome.

Great stay, fantastic house and accommodation. Jude was incredibly hospitable and though only for one night was able to accommodate my dog too, we will hopefully be back. Excellent breakfast, the perfect way to start the day. Many thanks Alex (&Woody)

Folly Farm and will definitely be returning in the not too distant future we hope. The room was very welcoming and the bed was comfortable. The room we were in did not have a shower, it was a beautiful freestanding bath and had a hand shower on the side, everywhere was very clean and tidy on arrival.||Jude is a wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed her cooked to order breakfasts.

Just got back from one night stay at Folly Farm. Jude the host was exceptional, going out of her way to make sure we had a great time. Breakfast amazing and room very comfy. Good advice on which local walks to do and with recommended the Greyhound for dinner which was delish. Thanks Jude! Sarah & Gary

We stayed a couple of nights at Folly Farm after walking 46 miles along The Ridgeway . Jude is a lovely host - making us feel really welcome . Beautiful accommodation and garden , delicious food and dog friendly ( she even looked after our dog when we went out one evening !) - the perfect place to stay !!

Stayed here for 4 nights recently. We stayed in the en suite room which was very comfortable and contained everything we required. TV, Kettle and hairdryer.||We do a lot of cycling and on one of the days we returned soaked to the skin and Jude helped us out getting everything dry and sorted for the next day out on the bikes.||The breakfasts are really to a good standard and kept us going most of the day.||Would recommend to anyone wishing to find somewhere to stay in this area.
