The Food Room provides the best breakfast / brunch options I have found in London. That sounds like hyperbole. I really mean it. I rarely write reviews but I have been coming here for several years on and off. The consistency is unimpeachable. Delicious food, freshly squeezed OJ, perfectly prepared coffee. And the service is polite, friendly, punctual. Nice vibes in a cosy but uncrowded space. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Hands down best breakfast in both Highgate and Hampstead. I’m not veggie but we ordered one of each full breakfasts and everything was perfect. Nothing under/over cooked and very generous portions. Variety on the menu. It’s a small place that is very cosy and so try and get there for opening otherwise.

One of the best breakfast experiences in london. It’s a tiny place but very efficiently run by the family. Food is awesome and everything was totally worth the wait. Will come again!

I was there today with a friend, we'd planned to go someplace else but it was very busy. The person who was running the shop at the time accommodated us in and the experience then was amazing. I made a few special requests which they wouldn't normally wouldn't commit to but the lady catered to everything with a smile. She looked after us really well and I kinda feel bad for not asking her name. Its a wonderful place to enjoy good quality food, coffee and have a good time in general, really nice vibes. A must visit place.

Delicious cafe and I think everyone knows it because there's always a queue. But it's worth it. Fab friendly service and everything is homemade, so if you have any dietary requirements they can expertly tell you if they can cater for it (or otherwise). And because it's all made there, the menu changes regularly.

Ordered the English Breakfast. Was one of the best breakfasts I had in a long time. I'm not normally one for beans but the sauce and the seasoning was out of this world. The hash brown were also amazing normally very hard to find somewhere that can actually cook them right. Everything else was delicious. Would definitely be returning and would 100% recommend this place.
