Great little café right next to Forge Dam. The atmosphere was wonderful with all the walkers some with their dogs enjoying a moment of relaxation in this peaceful environment. We had some coffee and cake and enjoyed some of the wonderful ice cream. Totally worth the stop on your next adventure through Sheffield parks, a very worthy pit stop.

My first visit on a lovely summer’s day did not disappoint. It was busy but there were plenty of waiting staff efficiently resolving everyone’s requirements. I didn’t see signposting from the residential street where I gained access but it seemed pretty well known when I got there. It’s quite spacious inside but on a sunny day the outside areas were the more popular. Up a few steps is the eponymous dam with water birds to be fed and an adjacent children’s play area make it a great spot for families. Busy ice cream sales confirms this. The cafe staff were pleasant and attentive and their ordering buzz device assured a prompt turnaround for food and beverages. It’s well worth a visit.

If your diabetic forget going to Forge Dam Cafe. Absolutely nothing available to eat. You would think a simple omelette and salad wouldn't be too difficult. This was on the menu in the past. Now it's all bread and chips

Decent coffee, cake and ice cream. Good service from the staff. Place always seems busy, but not _too_ busy. Sensible waypoint to turn around, refuel and then head back towards town.

Gorgeous walks by the side of the stream but the cafe near the dam was a hidden gem. Absolutely phenomenal food and very reasonably priced for such a little cafe. What a find !!! Would highly recommend !!!

The cafe serves great food and there are nice walks nearby. It is also along a cycle route from the city centre to the peak district therefore it is an ideal place to stop for food.

We love to come as often as we can, great for walk especially with our dog. After we have brunch at the café always enjoy what ever we choose to eat and love the cappuccino's. Friendly service, clean table's and usually quick service on the food which you get a buzzer for while you wait.
