We cannot recommend Kirsty and Steve enough for the impeccable food and service at our wedding in June. Several of our guests have commented it was the best wedding food they have ever had! The entire process was a complete pleasure - from Steve's creation of a bespoke menu based on our favourite restaurants and memories, and the wonderful tasting at their house, to the most delicious canapés and wedding breakfast, with incredible service to match.

Kirsty went above and beyond to help me in the lead up to the wedding, including liaising with some of the other suppliers for me, offering advice and assisting our co-ordinator with the marquee set up. On the wedding day George and I felt so looked after, Kirsty regularly checked in - offering us drinks (and water!!) and our own tray of canapés. It makes such a difference to have suppliers you know you can trust when planning your wedding, and Fossil Food were most certainly that. If you are a foodie looking for a lovely local supplier who will serve delicious food, do not hesitate to use Fossil Food!!

From the very first phone call, we knew that we had found the perfect caterers for our wedding. Kirsty and Steve made the entire process so enjoyable, easy and fun. They totally got our vision, and delivered more than we could have ever dreamed. On the day they were so organised, everything ran on time to the second, everyone was beyond helpful and their entire team were a total delight (one of the girls even finding my bouquet and all bridesmaids bouquets and putting them in water- without me even considering it!). We have since had numerous guests tell us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had, and we would have to agree. Kirsty Steve and the team, THANK YOU so much for absolutely making our day. Kirsty, Steve and the full team at Fossil Foods exceeded our expectations in every way. If you are a foodie, care about sourcing local produce and want a personalized, non "wedding-factory" experience for wedding catering, you have found the right place.
Food was the highest priority on our list, and Kirsty and Steve made sure to go above and beyond to make it perfect. They listened to our story, explored our vision and asked loads of questions to design a fully bespoke menu that represented us and tasted incredible. We asked for "Classic with a twist" and we got chilli crumbed sirloin with beer pickled mushrooms, pulled duck croquettes with Bloody Mary ketchup, Monkfish caught from their local bay with lemon balm, mini hassle back potatoes from their backyard, crispy pulled pork bao buns, smoked eel, wild boar, white asparagus... the entire menu was exciting and delicious. They also managed to take a little bottle of Honey that was gifted to us on our engagement, and make it the star of our char-grilled peach and truffle mascarpone dessert.
Kirsty was really easy to communicate with and was always happy to pick up the phone to help us understand the process and logistics, Steve took onboard all of our feedback and continued to refine the menu until it was perfect and the full team was so helpful on the day.
We really could not rave highly enough about our catering experience, it was a highlight of our wedding. Every one of our guests who have contacted us afterwards has commented on the food, and I feel like it will be a menu that people talk well into the future.

We can’t recommend Fossil Food enough, we chose them as our caterers for our wedding in July 2023 and we loved the food and so did our guests. We still get comments about how good the food was and how beautifully presented the sharing platters were.
Kirsty & Steve created a delicious bespoke menu which we tried at a food tasting session and they were both personable and friendly throughout. They were very easy to communicate with leading up to the day and put our minds at ease, answering any questions and discussing logistics for timings and our preferences.
They made sure our day was as we imagined and more!

Fossil Food are truly amazing! Not only does the food they create taste absolutely divine but the help, kindness, attentiveness and support they provide from the start right up until the end of the wedding day is fantastic.
The first thing one of our guests said to us as we arrived was that the canapés are delicious! Everyone still talks about the food and how the sharing boards worked so well. The standard they produced for over 100 guests is incredible!
We were able to go to a taster day where we could sample and tweak our menu and we knew from then we had made a great decision!
They even went the extra mile on the morning of the wedding and saved our cake from collapsing!

Kirsty and Steve were an absolute pleasure to work with, from the very first email reaching out to them, right through until the end of service on the day. They were always at the end of an email/whatsapp to answer any questions we had, big or small, and were always quick to respond.
We so enjoyed the planning process: answering our questionnaire felt like a date night in itself, reminiscing about all our favourite food moments as a couple. They then put together such a delicious, personalised menu; which I don’t think we would have ever come up with ourselves.
The tasting at Kirsty and Steve’s house was so lovely and intimate and gave us a chance to get to know them better – in the midst of all their normal wedding planning as caterers, they were planning their own wedding! Not that you’d have known it – at no point did we feel like anything other than their top priority. Kirsty was so on it with all the details, picking up all the little things that would absolutely have passed us by. Deciding on our canapés with Steve was so much fun, and very impressive: whilst glancing over our questionnaire answers he came up with 7 canapés that were entirely personalised to us.
Kirsty came down the day before the wedding to get set up (something our venue coordinator said many caterers don’t do) and it gave us such peace of mind to see how calm and confident she was.
On the day – and in every conversation with our guests since – everyone remarked on the outstanding quality of the food! As the bride and groom we felt so looked after; Kirsty brought us our own canapé board with one of each on there for us to taste (it goes without saying that they were all beyond delicious). They were so on top of the details: making sure that all our guests were topped up with fizz before giving us the nod to go ahead with the speeches, and going the extra mile for those with dietary requirements – Steve even provided the pregnant guests with an extra plate of well-done beef so that they could enjoy the main course too.
We cannot recommend Fossil Foods highly enough, they really did provide the highest quality service and food from start to finish.

Wonderful people, great food, amazing service! From the first meeting we had with Kirsty and Steve (inc a tasting) we knew we would go with them to cater for our wedding. They were both so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate - plus the food was fantastic! Once we decided on our menu, Kirsty was great at keeping in touch with us and they were so accommodating when we had to move the date due to the pandemic. The pre-wedding meeting reassured us that everything would be managed on the day seamlessly and that's what happened. The canapes were highly rated and we got a lot of compliments straight away on these. For the meal, the food arrived in good time, tasted great and some special people were looked after very well! The team they hired were great - and went above and beyond to clear a room for us at the last minute for the photo booth. We were really pleased with how the day went and the food was such an important part of this to us. We've had lots of feedback since and lots of people were loving the food.
